4Blade

I mix it up a little for my 12 ga 2 3/4in for small game...3in for deer.....3 1/2in for turkey......3in for everything through my little 20ga............. :D

My uncle got me into it I guess when I was about 12 and I will turn 27 Wednesday,,,,,,,I have never missed a season since...He didnt either....My uncle loved to chase the gobblers during the spring and taught me all the basics......He passed away 2 years ago this May:(.........

Personal preference,,,,,I have always shot 4 blade heads one of my buddies has always shot 3 blade heads,,,,And we kill deer with both types..........Most 4 blade heads have a smaller cutting dia but that extra blade makes up for the cutting surface........As for penetration,,,,Dont sweat it with a fixed head 3 or 4 blade,,,,,With todays compound bows penetration is not really an issue with fixed heads........ :D

Not had too much snow this year,,Got 5 inches just last week I hope thats it for the year,,,But its been cold rainy and the mud is terrible............Today it was about 70 a little windy but I can live with that,,,,You guys can keep all of that cold weather up north,,I dont want it;)......... :D

I was working at a hardware store,,,The service department was in the basement down there we had a small radio,,,I heard it on the radio that morning and then went upstairs and told my coworkers we turned on the tv and watched as the second plane hit..........

Just about anywhere that sells watch batteries,,,Most sporting goods stores carry them,,Wal Mart,,K Mart,,Magic Mart,,Rite Aid,,and even some grocery stores...... :D

I agree,,,,Most kids wouldnt know how to release the brakes let alone drive away in a big truck.........Dont sound like kids playing to me either......... :D:D

I have a 500 20ga,,,I have not yet taken a turkey with it yet,,I usually take my 870....I bought a couple of cheap choke tubes last year and patterend the little 20......I bought a Carlson super full .575 flush mount and a Cabelas heavy shot extended tube.........Both tubes liked the Remington premiers in #5 shot,,,The extended tube was just slightly better......I tried some Winchester loads and other shot sizes from Remington but they didnt do so hot with my little combo.......... :D

Another Liberty owner here,,,I have the smaller 24 gun,,,,Iam very pleased,,,So pleased that iam thinking about buying another one.......I have 20 rifles/Shotguns and 5 or 6 pistols in mine its full,,,I might have enough room to squeeze in 1 more rifle...The scoped rifles take up a little more room..........I dont even have my safe bolted down,,I figure that it would take 5 or 6 good men to pack it out and maybe more to get it down the steps,,,Even this small safe is heavy around 650 to 700lb empty,,,,It makes you feel better about theifs and fires.......... :D

If you decide to pick one up get the split limb adapters also even though you might not have a split limp bow,,Some solid limb bows that you will run across require you to use the split limb adapters.........Great little portable press for doing maintence............ :D

Dont answer your phone when you know one of those "friends" are calling;)Caller ID............I know the type,,We had a guy like that......Once deer season opened he wanted to hunt on our lease,,,Promised that he would help out with maintence during the summer,,,Once the weather warmed and it was time for work to be done on the property,,He always had better things to do........It took 2 seasons before we figured him out,,,But guess what,,This past season he didnt step foot on our lease:D..........Dont get me wrong,,He is a good guy,,Just one of those guys that you dont hear from unless its hunting season,,,He was just taking advantage of me and my 3 buddies that put in alot of time and money to keep the wheels turning on that piece of land.............:D:D

.338win mag:eek:Just joking,,,I agree with the above .243 or a 25-06 would be a great choice,,,,Keep in mind that lighter weight rifles will be easier for her to carry around but will also have a little more recoil v/s A heavier rifle that will be harder for her to lug around but will have less recoil..........243 or a 25-06 bolt action in a rifle as heavy as she would be comfortable with carrying if recoil is the main concern......Like others have mentioned a good recoil pad will help also........ :D

Personal preference,,,Whichever you think will fit your needs best........ :D

In one pic you have the cock vane pointing to your jaw,,,In the last pick you have it up which is the correct position.....Yep I too agree with Southerngirl your draw length looks like its a little too long..........My advice shorten your draw length and have your bow put on a scale and find out what your draw weight is for sure,,,,After that make sure you have the correct arrow shafts for your setup....If you stick with aluminum shafts make sure that your shafts all spin true and dont wobble...........Start from scratch and tune all over again after you have all of the above checked......Follow through after the shot is very important when useing a biscuit..........If your arrows have a small kick,,spin,,fishtail,,etc with a field tip once you put on a fixed broadhead the problem will get worse.........So many things can cause an arrow to fishtail,,spin,,kick,,etc,,,But the problem is easy to fix........... :D
