  8. Will Do and thanks . I will upload some pics soon, He isnt huge but I am proud of him. http://photopost.realtree.com/data/2/medium/Velvet_buck_2014.jpg
  9. The First shot hit him in the spine. The next one just grazed him and the third hit hIm in the lungs. I should probably have said that, I was afraid if I trimmed the tree branches in front of me I would be to open up there. I am just getting used to the camera too. probably should have let the film roll longer at the end. Thanks
  10. , First ever buck in velvet
  11. I would like to see a draft too , but it does sound kinda like a pain in the butt. With that being said , I would like to see a draft, of ciourse I wouldnt want to pick my team because I have no idea whos been getting deer.LOL
  12. I had a great time too guys, sorry I rode you red about posting your doe. Just wanted to get up on the board in fist place. Sometimes its ok not to get a buck down because it sure make you appreciate the the next one you get and Im sure you will get a nice one next year. And congrats to the rest of the team. Perhaps next year we could ask the powers that be that if someone who signs up on a team dosnt respond by a certain date to have them removed from the team before season, just a thought
  13. My first deer with a bow was about 18 years ago with my old browning mirage bow. I had shot a little buck a couple weeks before but was unable to find him, I wasnt very good at tracking or looking for that fact. Hit it in the rear. So I bought a string spool that hoocked to the end of my stabilzer, I had to drill and tap that old browning stabilizer, lol. I practiced and thought I was ok at 20 yards...LOL. Well I goit my chance and shot a 3 pointer at 15 yards on a early october hunt on public land. I tell you it was like I had a 100 pound fish on the end of my bow, that string was flying ou the end of my bow so fast I thought the plastci housing that held the spool of string was going to melt. Then it stopped, I tracked the deer with the help of my string and found him about 60 yards away. I remember thinking OH no now what>>>LOL!
