Congrats Dan on the permit. It aint easy gettin one in NYS. Do yourself a favor. Find out if your county clerk has any opt out forms to keep the fact that your wife and you have pistol permits from prying eyes that file FOIL's to get the licensing info. Our county clerk is in a legal fight here with the local papers for them wanting the names and address' of pistol permit holders here in our county and others. They feel your neighbor should know that you have guns in your house. So they published EVERY pistol permit holders name and address from Rockland and Westchester county on their website. Smart huh? Now the thieves have a to do list and the address' to do it at. See if your clerk has that opt out form to keep your info private. Congrats and enjoy!

I like the white stuff when hunting. If a leaf moves...you can see it. That is a big advantage to me. Now the cold on the other hand...Buy good clothes and you will be warm. Food sources are a great place to hunt when storms are coming. Good luck.

The stent is NOT one of my favorite things in life. I have used Atsko Sport Wash for the most foul smelling things I have needed to clean and it worked perfectly. It works on the proteins that cause the smell. Remember smell is from dead bacteria. But if that don't work...go for the 40 bucks and buy a new case.

My son Joe took this video on opening day here in our home county of Rockland on Oct 1st. I have never seen 3 deer do what these do. I have seen 2 do it...But never 3. Get your mind out the gutter:clown:. BTW...my son let the 8pt walk. Its a short vid but entertaining. PC didn't recognize vid cam format, so I had to record from cell phone and post that vid of a vid.
