  1. I have been on a Country tear as of late... Alan Jackson( Good time, small town souther man, Where were you), Toby Kieth(Red white and blue), George Strait( Troubadour), Brad Paisley( Online is way too funny:D), Hank Williams Jr( Family tradition), Can't forget Blake Shelton/ with Miranda Lambert( Home)...he is a Realtree prostaffer!, Trace Adkins( Miss this), Craig Morgan(redneck yacht club). Who'd figure a guy who grew up in NYC liking country:rolleyes: Man I'm digging country:) Its good stuff.
  2. Pests are pests and if they are damaging human property, they have to go. Don't sweat the small stuff. You are hereby absolved from that rabbit:D Nice shot... with a recurve too!
  3. Hang in there...Remember..Knowledge is power. Good Luck.
  4. Are you for hire? Nice Job, and I'm sure you'll fill that walk in box too;)

    Honor

A moving story... No such thing as a Ex marine.
  6. A Hunters ingenuity at work:)
  7. I use a climber when bowhunting almost always, and have permanent tree stands and ground blinds when gun hunting. We hunt private land.
  8. This is what I just parted with after 26 years... A 69 Firebird with....a 4.1/250cu inline 6 with a over head cam, single bbl carb and 2 speed powerglide tranny. In 69 they made 1979 of these, less than 600 with that motor and in convertible. Rare. This was a all original car. It had 52K miles on it when I sold it. I didn't use it anymore and it just sat in the garage, so I sold it to a co worker who loves cars as much as me. So it went to a good home. I do however still have my 5th birthday present:D A 1969 Rupp Chevy Jr/Monza Go Kart. This was only available to GM dealers as a promotion or for give aways to raffle winners. All Original also and for sale too! I need garage floor room and another 4 wheeler:rolleyes:
  9. Holy Mackerel! I'd jump too if that snake lunged at me. It looks like it is in a drainage trench.
  10. Prayers on the way Chris. Hope ya get it all under control soon.

23 year IBEW Journeyman Electrician doing Heavy Electrical construction in NYC.
  12. A Big PHEW!!!! Glad they are home:) What incredible energy she still has!
  13. Got a call from Joe, he shot a small hog. The thing was strolling towards him down a trail and he sat it down with a head shot at 15 yards from a .35 Remington:). Small moving target...nice shot! The pic was sent from a I Phone. The weather was horrible. They had fun. They are hunting Ft. Stewart tomorrow.
  14. I also like the Rock River line. I have one on a Stag Arms lower and it performs flawlessly.
  15. You shouldn't need a piece of paper to exercise ANY constitutional right. Registration leads to confiscation. I think that school district is heading in the right direction by showing the parents that they really do care about the safety of their children.

    gone

Family time is VERY important. Have fun Tim and we'll see ya when ya get back.
  17. Spoke to Joe last night, they stopped at a Wendy's for a bite in N.C., and they saw a girl tapping Chads car window trying to get the mounted Bobcat to move around! She thought it was still alive! The whole car is full of game mounts he picked up from his moms house and this poor girl did not know the difference. Good Taxidermist is all I can say. They made it there safely. This is no AKSheephuntress voyage for sure:), but it is the 1st time Joe has been out of state on his own for 10 days. But this is my 1st born and I am a bit nervous...Ahhh he'll be OK. Sorry I just can't stop being a Dad.
  18. Her story is worthy of any hunting magazine. Even without the harvest. I am very glad they are OK and are making it back in one piece. More Prayers.
  19. We have permission from neighbors to take care of the critters and our yards back up to a huge mature White Oak flat and old railroad bed and old reservoir with no access...no access unless you live there;) We are 40 miles north of NYC. This is still considered a shotgun county to DEC:eek:. We are bow only around here. I spoke to Joe a while ago, and they hit a load of traffic in the DC area and are in West Va having Elk steaks for lunch with another hunter friend. They will be off for Savannah headed down 95 soon.
  20. Well, I just helped my son load his gear and clothes as he is off for the Great state of Georgia for some hog hunting and cat fishing near Savannah for 10 days! Joe will be hunting with a buddy of mine(Chad), A true American Hero that just came home from Iraq finishing his 2nd tour. The 1st was in Afghanistan 12 months and he is now done with his 15 month tour in Iraq and is almost home free out of the Army. He will be working for a Georgia sheriff's dept soon. I think Clark county. Chad is quite the hunter...He has 11 P&Y deer under his belt! They will be hunting Fort Stewart and some Islands off the coast. I should have daily contact with Joe and I will keep everyone posted of their action. They are driving down ( have a safe trip) and Joe will be flying back up on the 26th. Lucky dog:p I wish I could go with them:( I love hunting with my son...sniff sniff now he's gone away ...to hunt with someone else...sniff.. sniff. I knew this day would come... when he would spread his wings and hunt with someone else...sniff... sniff. Hunt safe and shoot straight son, show 'em what Dad taught ya;) Our house is the one with the blue pick up in the driveway.
