  1. I'm from Enid, Oklahoma. I'm a commercial and residential carpenter.
  2. I have an Avery Power Hunter and love it! The only draw back to me is the field of view mostly when birds circle behindbut I half way solved that problem by taking out every other line of netting to make looking back easier. Also I am 6'4 and 280lbs and can fit into it with not much fuss just wish it were a little longer.
  3. Some good rifles in price are Rem 700, Savage, Win, h&r and the vangaurd line of rifles. A .270 win, .308, 7mm rem mag, 30-06 and 25-06 would all be good calibers. You will difently need good glass to go on the rifle for hunting out west. Nikon Buckmasters line of scopes are pretty good and won't break the bank.
  4. It is hard to say what choke is going to pattern best out of your gun since no 2 shoot alike, if your main load is going to be black cloud shell there is a choke made for black cloud shells. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0060547229310a&type=product&cmCat=SEARCH_all&returnPage=search-results1.jsp&Ntt=black+cloud&Ntk=Products&sort=all&_D%3AhasJS=+&N=0&_D%3Asort=+&Nty=1&hasJS=true&_DARGS=%2Fcabelas%2Fen%2Fcommon%2Fsearch%2Fsearch-box.jsp.form1&_dyncharset=ISO-8859-1
  5. You can use any type of steel with that choke but do not use it with black cloud shells because of he flight control wad. With the black cloud you want to use a choke that doesn't strip or slow down the wad like the pattern master does.
  6. this is the only thing i could find http://www.e-gunparts.com/model.asp?idDept=113 or this http://www.e-gunparts.com/products.asp?chrMasterModel=1580z100%20HAMMER%20DOUBLE%20BARREL&MC=
  7. If you have the owners manual it should tell you how to break down the gun and clean it. Here is a link with some info that might help http://www.wisnersinc.com/additional_info/Remington_7407427400.htm

  9. My favorite one is where the best man takes a key off his keychain and hands it to the bride and says "I guess I won"t be needing this anymore"
  10. Welcome to the forums! As with any gun no 2 are exactly alike so you will have to get a few boxes of differnt brands and see what it likes to eat.
  11. I hear it all the time, it does get pretty old when they say it everytime they see you.
  12. my 2 best bucks were both killed November 24, 9 point in 02 and 8 point in 03.
  13. Are you looking for a semi or a pump? As the others have said remington 870 and mossberg 500 for pump guns. Remington and charles daly I belive make youth semi's. You could also look for regular shotgun and cut the buttstock down to size and its a youth gun, then later on buy a new stock when they out grow it. If the young hunter is on the smaller side I would look more into a semi-auto to help cut down on the recoil.
