Re: moultrie gamespy 100 help thanks moon, I tried that this morning, but still no luck. I am going to call moultrie tomorrow and see if I can send it back.

Hey guys, I have a moultrie game spy 100. I brought it in and downloaded the pictures this weekend. I was going to set it out in a different spot, but when I put the SD card back in I recieved the following message: SD CARD LOCKED. I tried a couple of different SD Cards with the same results. Has anyone run into this problem. (BTW the cards are not locked, they work just fine in my wife's digital camera!) Thanks

Re: Free photoshop??? Try Gimp. (Gimp) It is a freeware program that is very similar to PhotoShop. the only downside is there is not a lot of instructions, so you have to learn it by trial and error.

Re: One in the pipe.... I keep a 1911 cocked and locked on my nightstand. When children enter the picture, I will be investing a gun vault ( Gun Vault ). . A friend of mine has one, It seems to be a good combination of safety and accessability.

Does anyone know of a way to print a message on an arrow wrap before putting it on the arrow?

Re: thoughts on safety It has been almost a week since I posted this (the modem in my computer went out and I just got the replacement). The lady who went missing last week still has not been found. I live in a small community, and people around here are still upset that she hasen't been found. I am bumping this post to the top, just as a reminder to everyone to be safe out there (and don't be afraid to talk to your elderly friends and relatives about what to do if they get lost). Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers. It is worth mentioning that none of the volunteers who have been searching have been hurt or lost themselves, I believe this can be attributed to the prayers of people like you guys.

I started a thread a couple of days ago about the elderly lady that went missing. Before I go to bed and get some much needed rest I have some thoughts for everyone. First of all this lady is missing because she took a trip to the woods to pick some muscadines (sp??). Her truck slipped off the side of an old logging road and got stuck. She apparantly got out of the truck and took off on foot. I don't know about you guys, but I have family members who love to go out in the woods and pick muscadines, berries, plums, etc., We shouldn't stop them from enjoying these things (heck, I hope I live long enough to be out picking blackberries at 83). But we should be remiding them of some safety precautions. First, don't go by yourself and let someone know where you are heading and what time you will be back. Second, If you do get stuck/lost STAY BY THE TRUCK or STAY ON THE ROAD. Somebody will find you if you stay on the beaten path, it may take a day or so but if you stay put you can arrange shelter (truck cab, lean to , etc.). Sorry about the run on sentences (I am tired!!) and sorry about sounding really preachy but it almost broke my heart seeing this lady's 82 year old sister at the staging area wanting to walk down a bluff and look for her sister. Thanks everyone for the prayers and God Bless.

Re: prayers needed for missing woman just a quick update on the missing woman. It has been over 96 hours seen she was last seen, and we still haven't found her. I have been out pretty much nonstop since wendsday. The authorites have halted the night portion of the search (at this point most it is more of a recovery operation), so I will probably be out again tomorrow. Continued prayers for the family and also the searchers would be appreciated.

Re: prayers needed for missing woman thanks again for all prayers. I am heading back out (came in for something to eat) If anyone is interested in updates the local news kfsm is updating breaking news fairly well. Unfortuntly, it looks like we are in for some bad weather this evening. Thanks

Re: Masters Program Good luck, My wife (she is in her 2nd yeare of teaching grade school) is getting ready to start a masters program and I am hoping to get accepted to an MBA program for this fall. Like you we think it will be a lot of work, but the financial payoff will be worth it.

Re: back from vegas Welcome back, We are heading to Vegas in a couple of weeks. My sister-in-law is graduating from high school and we are going out to visit. I have never been and to be honest the only thing I am really looking forward to is the "dam tour" at Hoover dam.

Re: Internet Speed Dial-up. Strut10, I know the feeling. We live about 2 miles from cable. I really like our satellite service, but I would switch to cox cable for reasonable hi speed internet in a heartbeat!

Hey guys, Just wanted to reintroduce myself. My name is Brad and I live in northwest arkansas (God's country), I love turkey and deer hunting and pretty much anything else that gets me outside. I posted on this website a little while back, but when my computer crashed I was limited to viewing during lunch hour at work. Long story short, we just got a new computer and I look forward to talking hunting and fishing and anything else interesting.

Re: who makes a lightweight stand? Lone wolf!! they are pricey, but I pack my alpha hang-on and three climbing sticks (total weight around 19 pounds) without any problems (by the way, I have back problems so weight is an important issue in stand selection). The assault hang-on is even lighter.

Re: SW 1911 I took the new SW1911PD out for target practice over the weekend. It really likes the Federal 185 grain JHP Hydra Shok. I also tried some wolf brand 230 grain FMJ. The gun did not like this round at all. I am planning on trying some different types of 230 grain ammo this weekend. This is the first handgun I have owned which is big enough to hunt with. I am considering using this gun to thin out the wild hog population on my grandfathers farm, what load would you guys recommend. Thanks
