We had snow flurries today and has been cold all day. Ready for some warmer weather but it doesn't really look like we will get any here anytime soon.

We have had crazy weather I saw all 4 seasons yesterday in one day over here in dayton at my inlaws. We were outside working and had rain snow cold hot aND 60 mile per hour gusts. Been a crazy month for weather. Got flooded out from a job we were doing and just crappy.

That's cold! We were down in the single digits there a couple days last week. Suppose to be dang cold the start of next week here. Got a little snow there last week as well.

Lol it flurried here on and off there last weekend. Loving the weather.

We had a great opening day today bucks are pushing does hard. I saw bucks fighting pushing doe and everything else. Alot of deer. Passed on multiple bucks throughout the day. 2 that for this area are shooters for most. But I know what is lurking around every tree. Its about dark im sitting there the three bucks and a couple doe I was watching wonder off. Then it happens a doe runs up the hill into the field. Automatically im like buck is pushing her. I get ready there he is one of the bucks I know are there. Atleast 20 inch spread goos mass for the area looks to be 8 to 10 pt but at that point who is counting I see spread mass and aged body. He is standing towards me no shot looking for the doe. Takes 10 steps back broadside. Im thinking here we go baby. I ready take a shot and nothing stands there like nothing happend. Still looking for his Mrs. So I ready and shoot another he is about 150 to 175 for both shots. Nothing. Looks around and puts his tail up. Sees his mate and takes off after her. I checked very well but no blood. Im sick. What a day. Im pumped to get out tomorrow after another or maybe love will let me seehim again. Im going to have nightmares tonight lol

Tonight starts my 10 day vacation from work Couldn't have been at a better time been busting it the last few weeks at work hard Im sore and tired. Tipping a few adult drinks this evening if no one minds me saying. Going to be a long week of a little around the house work and a whole lot of deer hunting. Cant ask for a better vacation first one I have had since last deer season. Been a year! Lol

That wouls be a real pain in the neck. The basement would stink I know we would fill it up. We have a basment in the house but it is really unusable gets water in it. Biggest thing with this house its solid but is 105 years old and over the years people have done work themselves but it was done half way right like the wall work and things. So I've been slowly redoing them to make it look better.

I'd say he will be back. Hope she gets another crack at him. I know I've missed a big one atleast once or twice. On the other hand after missing one of them I killed my biggest buck to date the day after.

Sounds like your having some good hunting! Finally made it through all my cam pics last night. No bucks to talk about. Hoping something wonders buy there next week.
