Went in town today and saw a dead deer on the side of the road without its head. I dont think thats right maybe its just me but why would you want to take the head off somthing you or someone else hit? Thats more than likly one reason why anti hunters view us as not doing the right things and it jsut being about killing things.

Re: Deer hunters save rare bird!!! Great story! Your right rossman we are hunters but i think our main mission is to preserve wildlife. We dont go a field just to be killing animals there is great friendships starting with hunting or fishing. And its about showing younger people to care that way there will always be those rights of hunting for them. Look at the NWTF it has brought turkey back to places where they have been run out. I think we are here for that purpose and for the taking of game!

Re: Tough hunting in Va. this year. Well over here in WV we've had a hard time to. Not had this many acorns and things in a long time. Been seeing some better bucks but pretty much the same alot more body wieght on them than last year tho.

Man couldnt go hunting today because had to finish up the christmas shopping. So many people in such a little mall at least it seemed little! Was hopping to get out today and go see if luck was on my side. And since i didnt do that i dont know why but this dang day has drug on forever. This post is to show just how long this day has been!

Re: Went To The Big Town Today!!!! lol! We had to go to the mall today and it was packed and the roads were packed id never seen that many people in this town all at one time. Looked at the clock about half way threw town and again when we got there it took 30mins long time. Well just thought id say that glad to here you made it back!

Re: best bow for a newbie I love shooting my hoyt and would go with it if i was you. They have some good buys on them if you can find the one you like to shoot but like a few other guys said mathews is a great bow i just love the hoyts!
