  4. I just hope that with site problems resolved this place will rebound. I know over the years I have found this place frustrating to use. Always seemed like something ticking me off.
  5. Was nice getting some cooler Temps of late. Thought the heat was never going to end. Now we need some more rain.
  6. Blood trailers sounds good. Congrats on the deer Z! Been dropping apples of at my property for the last month or so. Acorn crop looks weak and with the drought this year the soybeans look really sad. So far lots of deer sign not long until bow season now!
  7. Hey everybody. Just checking in. Been a few years since I've been involved in the deer contest on here. Glad I could join! Bowhunting for me does not start until Oct 1st.

  11. Unfortunately this often becomes your only option. Good luck!
  12. Congrats, that is a great looking buck!
  13. Been a crazy day for me as members of my family were placed in lockdown situations in Ottawa today. Busy texting them info as I was hearing it. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of CPL Nathan Cirillo. In the words of our Prime Minister "Let there be no misunderstanding, we will not be intimidated, Canada will never be intimidated,"
  14. Hope all my fellow Canadians had a great thanksgiving weekend!
  15. Can't say anything bad about my Excalibur. Got the 25th anniversary relayer about 5 years ago. Love it, tough as nails!
  16. this is an amazing video. lady said they fought like this for 20 minutes. Filmed in alberta canada last weekend!
  17. I bought a blind a couple years ago so I could take him out, thinking he could move around a little more and hopefully see something. Here he is last year working the coyote caller, out of the blind.
  18. Some great moose there. brings back great memories, I have not been on a moose hunt in over ten years!
  19. Just wanted to say Hi to everybody, was on here a lot 5 or 6 years ago, still try to drop by and check out things every now and again. my little guy is getting big, he is 6 years old now and wants to join dad hunting. We got out once coyote hunting last year. He wants to deer hunt with me this year. I worry that he might be too young to see me shoot a deer, etc. He is a sensitive kid, and I don't want to turn him off hunting by doing the wrong thing. Any advice from parents would be great. Here is pick of the two of us shooting our "crossbows"! He loves the outdoors, and camping, it will be fun to enjoy time together hunting as well.
  20. Hey guys, have not been on here in a while! Finally got a doe tag this year, first in a bout five years. Hope you guys have good luck this fall!
  21. Congrats on the doe!!!!!! I have always dragged my deer to another part of the property to gut them, for fear of scaring away the deer. A few years ago my brother in-law gutted his buck right near my stand, I thought it would be ruined, but being my favourite spot I went back, and I had deer walking right near the gut pile within a day or two. If you have coyotes, chances are the pile will not stick around long anyways.
