  1. Im looking for an older Cuddeback C3000. Its the 3.0 mp model before the Excite and Experts came out.
  2. Here are 2 bucks on a different farm from my first set. What is everyones opinion on the odd one? I assume its some kind of injury but would it have been something that hit is antler early in development or some other kind of injury? It looks like he has already lost some velvet on his left side G2 and on the top 2 points on the right side. Whatever caused it, sure is a shame the right side cant match the left.
  3. Just got some cameras out for the first time. So far, its a pretty good start to the year I would say.
  4. I finally got my first cam out to one of my usual spots and after 4 days, it looks pretty promising. Im not good at judging age, so whats everyones take on the age of the wide and short one. I assume he is pretty well done growing but should be a good deer in a year or two
  5. I think Ive had pics of the first buck but the others are new. Its hard to tell on here but the 4th pic down, the front deer with its head down is another good buck. With the dark color of the rack, I assume its the same deer as the pic above it but you never know. The deer in the 2nd and 3rd pics from the bottom is a 12pt with split g3's
  6. bwlacy, the batteries that stealth cam sells are sealed lead acid batteries which are different than regular car batteries, im not sure if it would be safe to use a deep cycle or something like that. However, you can buy a bigger SLA battery, for example if the one stealth cam sells is a 12v 5.0 AH, you can buy a 12v 12.0 AH and you will be getting more than twice the run time. You have to make sure that the voltage is correct whether its 6 or 12 but the AH rating, the higher the better. You can buy a 12.0 AH battery for $28 plus shipping from batterymart.com. An 18.0 AH is $35. The charger would be another $18. You should be able to buy the correct plug from radio shack, then buy some wire and you can make your own complete setup with twice the power. Ill have to look at my stealthcam external to see what it uses but I think it is either a 5.0 or 7.0AH.
  7. Great pics, hope someone gets a crack at the 12 pt!
  8. Heres my most recent pics, I thought the last one was pretty cool. Its kind of hard to see but its a coyote chasing a doe.
  9. Glad to see you made it on here. Since you are using photobucket, it will automatically size them for you. Click on options where I have it circled and you can set your max image size to Message Board 640 x 480. Pretty good deer too:eek:
  10. You are correct wtnhunt, they are pix boards. I know some people have had trouble with them draining batteries in days but mine arent that bad, they just seem to be very unpredictable. Sometimes Ill get 3-4 months and sometimes 3-4 weeks.
  11. Got these pics today. I have a hard time leaving a camera for more than 3 days but Ive been trying to improve on that this year and so far, every time Ive left one out for a long period, something has went wrong. This time the battery for the control board went dead after 3 days and then it sat for 6 days doing nothing but at least I got something good before it died.
  12. Yes they are P41s. On one camera Ive been having trouble with the blurry and grainy pics but I cleaned the lens on the camera it self and the glass on the case and I hope that it will make it better. The top pics are the exact same camera settings as the bobcat and the 4th pic down but the top ones look like they were set on a lower resolution.
  13. Here are my latest pics, things have been pretty slow lately but not bad. I wish I could have gotten a better picture of the bobcat but check out how long his tail is! The last buck I had posted pictures of before but the second to last one is new. Notice how much his main beam has grown in 20 days.
  14. Neighbor, you are correct about the bottom 5. I dont think I had pics of those deer last year but with the angles and distance of them, its hard to tell. These were the only pics of these bucks so far. Ive got the cams out right now but with the extreme heat we are having, Im not sure what kind of effect it will have. There is definitely enough here to get me excited though. Here are a couple more.
  15. Its a shame the big ones didnt come any closer.
