Does anyone here remember the episode I believe Miranda Lambert was on and Michael actually was the playing guitar with Mason singing. Can anyone tell me what the song was?

Leo, I appreciate the info, I am definately not trying to take shortcuts I shoot fixed pins now and have the last 6 years or so. The problem with range finders is unless you get ones like the new Leupold they do not compensate for angles either. I am just seeking out info on the new sights such as the trophy ridge good to 40 dependg on bow speed. Just feeling out the newest and greatist is all.

Hey guys just curious if any one here has experimented with any of the newer pendulum sights this year like Summits Hot Dot, Tru Glo's, Or the Trophy Ridge V-Drive and exactly how far out they are accurate. Just looking for some feed back

Hey just curious if any out there can get me started in the right direction of finding some decent pulic deer hunting around the Wichita area. My brother is leaving IL for a new job and heading out there. On a mission to find the Outdoor String Music Team a little Kansas land to hunt when we visit. Thanks a bunch

Re: SONIC TEST Glad to see everyone is coming around. If you recall about 6 months ago I posted something on here about how we thought this was a great head and to check out the website for more info and got rode kinda hard about it. THats alright just glad to see more people are finding out what we saw from the get go. Thanks again to AMerican Broadhead for making the head as good as it is and taking a shot with us.

Re: Bowhunting Rituals? We like to thanks the good Lord for providing us with a place to hunt and never take for granted what some of us are able to do. Always ahve to visualize the hunt on the way to the spot no surprises.

Re: outback We both currently shoot the outback and it would be hard for us to make a switch until Mathews comes out with a vast difference in the bow rather than just the minor changes.

Re: Carbon Tech - Whitetails? Definately like the GoldTip Pro's

Re: Scored with a buddy. Make that, my buddy score congrats on your success

Re: Would like some thoughts on this claim.... Everyone has hit it on the head. All IBO speeds are speeds the hunter will never see. Bows these days doesn't make a difference to me shooting 275 or 300 just find the right setup and go from there. I am fairly picky with my speed but I love a forgiving bow. Im not a speed freak I just want a flat shooting around at 40yards

Hey just curious what everyone in here has or will be doing for the spring and summer food plots. Just seeing what all people have come up with and when they are getting started. Its getting closer and the team is getting more and more fired up everyday. Cant wait to see the plots pay off.

Re: harvest pins I applied for them the 10th of october and just applied for the two does I wonder if they saw that and thought i was just trying to get them without harvesting a deer becuase i never recieved the pins either. It not a huge deal but its fun to have multiple pins fore every year and think of all the stories and meories that go with them.

Re: Who thinks Illinois is headed down dark road? I agree with most people in here and yes there are pros and cons. Its just a shame that we keep paying more and more each year for tags and I know the money has to go to a lot of things but maybe some of it should go back to wildlife instead of the money building bike trails through woods to get a more diverse group interested in the outdoors.

Re: Possible New Job Sounds like a good opportunity for ya. Hope it doesn't interfer with too much hunting

Re: New over here Glad to see you on the site hope to hear more from you.

Re: trouble coming to full draw Advantage is right try to lower the pounds and get her used to it first you owe that to the hunt. But be sure adjusting the weight you turn the linms ounterclokwise the exact same amount to keep the bow in tune. Wish you luck

Re: We should be ashamed!! You got it, Times change and so do the bows, You dont see people arguing about gettin minimum wage raised everything is constantly evolving, but well put. Thanks

Re: MUST SEE!!!! BROADHEAD SHOWDOWN Snapper interesting reply, All we did was take heads he have shot or our friends have shot over the last few seasons. No we dont go buy theses heads just to shot them, but I will say hunting is 90% mental and confidence is a mental thing. yes shot placement is critical but when you do hit that shoulder we have a lot more confidnece in these heads than what we used to shoot. Thus the mental part of hunting is coming into play. No one plans on a bad shot but when it happens its not going to get us down we will still have faith in finding the animal which is the point if hunting. THe recovery.

Re: How many Deer have you taken?? First deer with a bow in 2000 I was 18 than took 4 with a gun I believe and 22 with a bow since than so I guess about 26.

Re: MUST SEE!!!! BROADHEAD SHOWDOWN Im not sure why this thread got heated the test was simply done for our own sake and thought people may like to see what it did. As far as all the comments on shooting through a steel drum whould you rather us do that to test them or simply test them on deer out of season. The steel is a much more logical bet. Just thought people wouldenjoy seeing it not think I was calling out their broadheads.
