  12. Re: HELP!!! shot a buck today high back will he die??? well i got up 6:45 and looked for over an hor with no luck however later in the day towards sunset while working on my garage i noticed a buck up on the hill where i saw him last chasing a few does around and he had a slight limp to him so i am assuming that was him it sure looked like him but is there a chance he will eventually die from infection or gangherine?
  13. hello all i shot a very nice heavy 8 point tonight but it was a high hit in the back above the leg arrow did stick and broke off once he ran through the brush expandable broadhead i am assuming stayed in him the only time he ran was right after i shot him and that was about 15-20 yards after that he just kinda walked slowly off. i had somewhat of a blood trail but i figured i would let him lay and hopefully find him in the am it looked to me that he bedded down in a corn patch which is where he was heading on his way in he jumped a doe but he did not follow it which leads me to believe he is hurting the arrow only penetrated about 5 inches though. what are my chances i will find him??? any info is greatly appreciated thanks!!!
