I use the string splitter on mine and it allows me more light than any of the other peeps I have used. I really like it.

The mount was done in 2006. I think the hide was tanned.

I am not sure that hair slippage is the correct term here. I just want to know if it is normal for any hair at all to come off your deer mount. If I rub my hand over it a couple of hairs here and there will come out not a handful or anything (yet anyway). And every once in a while I will find a couple at the base below the mount. Is that normal? Or could I have bugs of some sort?
