  3. Re: North Dakota Winter I"M not sure there was 44"s of snow or 90 MPH winds it did get nasty in areas,,, but that snows all gone, actually winter in ND, are mild these days, it's kinda funny when we have nicer weather than southern states ,,, the snow birds head south , and at times it better here than Arizona....................
  4. Re: Field Dressing usually 5 to 10 minutes, depending how good the edge is on the knife, I do not cut the throat ,I'll split the pelvic and brisket I have the sagen saw for that, I will cut the windpipe once the deer is opened up, piece of cake......

    How Many?

Re: How Many? two is my record, most of the hot spots are snagged up by some other guys, I'm not a true dedicated shed hunter but I am starting to show more interest the last 2 to 3 years and going out
  8. Re: Your Favorite Band/Singer ACDC , BOSTON , VANHALEN, JOHNNY HORTON
  9. Re: nascar\'s car of tomorrow. I agree with the hollywood mainstream look, maybe they need to take a peak back at the roots of nascar
  10. Re: How Many tags does your state give out a year? In north Dakota, I can purchase a bow tag over the counter, which is good for one deer, whitetail or mulie either sex and if lucky draw a rifle and muzzleloader tag, after the first and second drawing there are antlerless tags left over, this past season ND issued 145,000 plus tags, and there are a lot of left over doe tags, you can purchase as many you want for what ever units they are available, so if your lucky with the rifle and blackpowder drawing and with the bow tag a person can harvest three bucks, and does.
  11. Re: nascar\'s car of tomorrow. whats the deal with this new car, is it going to be one make of car for every one, I have not read up on it yet.............

  13. Re: Nice buck caught by his rub He's a dandy Clay ,, less than 9 months to go nice pics
  14. Re: Drives=Fair Chase? I don't mind deer drives I've been deerhunting 27 years and half been on tons of drives, deer will go were deer will go, you can post up the travel routes,, to me it's 50-50 those deer especially whitetails will lay tight, sneak out the side, or may circle back, I guess it depends on the terrain your making a drive,, it's legal where I hunt, I have nothing against them but trail cams, how many deer or big bucks in that matter are shot by having cameras out taking photos I don't own any but would like to myself,, that an advantage too is'nt it... that my two cents
  15. Re: Can I brag? *(Pics)* She's a cutie , you diffently need to enjoy at that age ,, congrats ,,, I remember when my boy was that age , now he's 18 , boy where does the time go......
  16. Re: Shed hunting tips ..... winter, spring 2005 was the most shed hunting I've done, found a half dozen sheds, four while actually looking for them and two while I was harvesting grain, suprised they did not get all busted up rom machinery. they can drop off anywhere, but fence line travel routes from bedding to feeding are the best that i've seen
  17. Re: deer tracks ? (pics) width and stride can tell you alot and of coarse the hoof print itself a buck with a 20 or 23 inch between prints is a good one, and a tree inch wide track, you have your self a heavy weight buck.
  18. Re: deer tracks ? (pics) ooops, if that track is about three inches wide you could have that size of deer
  19. Re: deer tracks ? (pics) Take a three inch shot gun shell or a 30-06 loaded shell or a tape, lay it crossways on the track and if its close or fits the track, theres a good chance your looking at a buck track ,also as said the mud will make that track look a bit bigger also you could be looking at a 200# dressed deer ,give or take a little
  20. Re: 2006 NASCAR Chase I'm a big Earnhardt fan , I believe they have more work to do ,, vegas, california and some other tracks they need to improve on,, here's my 2006 order stewart edwards junior biffle johnson martin harvick gordon b parsons d pearson l petty I just had to do that
