anybody got any tips or tricks to successful trapping coyotes in the rain? rain will wash the dirt cover off of my coil spring traps and i was wondering what was the best alternative for covering your traps in a rainy situation.
thanks,

i ordered some duke #3 coil spring traps with a 6" jaw width and am wondering if that is too big for coyotes and foxes. i would prefer not to break legs. should i downsize to a smaller trap? and if so what size? what will a #3 do to a fox?
thanx, jj
In a flooded field behind a 500 acre lake in Alabama, three other boys and I had a four man limit of bluebills and ringnecks in one hour of very selective shooting.
