I just recently found out I received 1 of 40 elk tags for Pennsylvania! And to up that, I drew 1 of 15 bull tags. If any of you have any suggestions for a first time elk hunter, please let me know. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I was just wandering if using doe urine as a cover scent sprayed on the bottom of my boots is only something that is effective in the rut or can be used any time. I'll appreciate any input.

Re: Early Season Grunting? I rattle early in the season. The trick is you gotta act like its just a sparring match not an all out brawl. Sometimes that big buck will come in to see who's challenging and let everyone know he's the big dog in the area. Its best to do this later in the evening rather than in the morning.

Re: First day Pa, how did ya do Went out all morning, and saw nothing. But man did it feel good to be up in that tree again. Going back out about 2:30 til dark.

Re: Gobbling in PA? saw 1 big gobbler and 2 smaller gobblers out with a flock on monday in armstrong county. 2 smaller ones were in full strut big one too busy feeding.

I was just wondering if anyone new any good public land to hunt in Georgia? I have tried to contact a few Georgia government agencies to get some town names near Allen Creek WMA or Wilson Shoals WMA, but no one got back to me. If any one new where these 2 WMA's were located (town names), it would be greatly appreciated.
