  1. Glad that you were able to find a pair that would work for you. I too like to support the local companies, they may not carry women's sizes, but at least they are willing to special order items in when I'm not in a hurry. Well that and Steve has banned us from shopping WalMart.
  2. I tend to use winter as a time to catch up on my scrapbooking. I also find this time of year I am on the computer a lot more.
  3. This is my BIGGEST pet peeve! In my opinion Christmas decorations shouldn't come out until after Thanksgiving and be down within a few days of Christmas. I've been known to take mine down the day of Christmas. Anyway, it's in our neighborhood association clause that decorations are to be down by January 2nd. Problem is most of the neighbors don't follow this and since we are no longer a "paying" association it isn't inforced much.
  4. I set a few goals for 2009 and I am already struggling to keep them... 1. To be completely off of Pepsi by May. I have begun cutting back my daily intake - I thought I had set a reasonable daily allowance, but by 7 p.m. tonight I realized I had decreased it too much too soon - as my loving hubby brought me a Pepsi and told me to drink! 2. Spend more 1 on 1 time with my kids. I spend the majority of my time with my kids, but rarely with only one of them at a time. 3. Curb my shoe addiction. However, I found these cute shoes at 75% off today and caved. Guess I had better set some limits. 4. Bag a Turkey this year!!!!!! I wish you all the best for 2009 and good luck on your goals!
  5. My Daughter Cas made me a scrapbook - little sneak has been raiding my scrapbooking room for the past month without me detecting her. In-laws got me a sweater from Bass Pro My Father got me a electric blanket The biggest surprise of the all was a Cricut personal electronic cutter from Steve!!! I have been wanting one for the past 2 years. The best gift of all was being able to spend the past 2 days with family and friends. I was even able to hear from all my family down in Texas.
  6. Every New Years Eve my friends and I gather to welcome in the New Year. We alternate the host, this year is my turn. So Steve and I will be hosting a New Years Eve party. Then New Years day (after a few hours of rest) Steve will be leaving for Chicago for a Red Wings Winter Classic game - leaving me home to do the cleaning. Whatever you all do, please be safe!
  7. Congrats on the boar! That thing is huge. I wished we had pigs around here - well at least wild pigs to hunt. My vote is boar in drag...those lips give it away.
  8. Thanks for posting. I am not a country fan, but I heard this a while back and liked it. I had no idea who sung it until now. It has now been added to my Ipod!
  9. My friends all give me a hard time. I love Christmas! Love celebrating the birth of Jesus with family and friends. Cooking, decorating, ect, but I hate Christmas music. I have not found a song yet that I can tolerate.
  10. Seeings how my husband has taken my Ipod transmitter for the car and refuses to give it back, I am asking for one for my jeep.
  11. I know if I was to take a day off of work to get shopping done, then I would be darn sure to spend it shopping no matter what the weather is like. Days off are too hard to come by. Did you offer to meet your wife for lunch? I rarely invite my hubby to lunch as I know his daily schedule is generally pretty busy - even when he is working from home. In my opinion you have nothing to worry about, but if your on here asking us our opinion I'd say your already worked up. So I would take cinch314 advice and just let her know CALMLY how your feeling. I wouldn't start the conversation off as being suspected of anything. Just let her know that had she asked you'd have been glad to have met them for lunch. Then ask more about the co-worker. Now if your asking if any of us ladies have met male coworkers for lunch before - the answer would be yes. 95% of my coworkers are male. Steve hasn't had the opportunity to meet most of my co-workers over the years, but I've always made a point of letting him know when we've had lunch or any off work activites (bowling, baseball, ect). Most of these activities were last minute plans, so he couldn't attend. I try to let him know before the fact, but if it's something simple as lunch then I don't see the need. If she told you about meeting him for lunch and brought your son along, I'd say you have nothing to worry about.
