  1. I don't probably live too far from ya. We really enjoy North Arkansas in the eary spring. You oughta try it if you like something different. We just use spinning reels, no fly rods.
  2. I caught it in a about seventy feet of water on a stick bait. We were trolling.
  3. Hey folks I just thought that I would share with you what kind of fish Beaver lake produces. I hope the picture works. Have a great weekend.
  4. I live in East Texas and love to shoot my bow year round. In years past there was a local archery club that held tournaments on occasion. Unfortunately, it was before I started shooting, and they no longer exist. Can anyone suggest a way for me to find out if there is any shoots or clubs, within reasonable driving distance, in East Texas for an avid bow hunter to participate in?
  5. Thanks for the recipe. I am more of a venison and beef "griller" and do not have too many trout recipes in my cooking "portfolio." I will sure give this a try.
  6. Recently, my family and I returned from our annual trout fishing trip in North Arkansas at Gaston's resort. Needles to say we did not come home with an empty cooler. We had a great time fishing and having fun. I was needing some suggestions on other ways to cook whole trout other than my regular way of grilling with lemon juice, butter, bell peppers and onion. Any recipes someone doesn't mind turning lose?
  7. One thing that helped me keep in the Word until I had read it cover to cover, with the exception of some of the lineages in the Old Testament, is my one year Bible. My parents gave it to me a few years back and it really helps. It has it set up to where I read a little of the old, a little of the new, a Psalm, and finish up with a Proverb. It takes a total of 10 min a day as long as I don't catch myself dreaming of a big buck. By no means do I consider myself an avid reader, but I try to accomplish this goal each year. Also, it doesn't hurt to have a friend reading it also to keep each other accountable.
