spange90. the biggest pointer i can give is patients i still have a hard time finding them. lol ok for real now. get a good cam. dont go crazy but get a cam that has a LANC port so you can use a hand controller. you will need a camera arm. many of them out there. for the self Filmer gorilla makes a good one so does muddy. i make my own and use a manfrotto 501 and 701 head with a hand controller. when you start to get it and see the footage its fun and rewarding...

wow thats some buck

Im not big on reading long post or making a long post. ill keep this as short as i can. We had 6 hunters last week and took 6 nice buck. we saw lots of rutting activity more then even during a 6 day week. Monday the plan was to sit all day. in the morning i pass on a 3 pt and 4 pt. i had seen a very large 9 and a 8 on the trail cam regularly. At 12:40 this big 9 walks in one shot and down. i was so pumped to see him i put two video camera on him and forget to hit record on both. it was super windy and cold. cell phone photo after shot. Bill Brown on opening night took a very nice 6 pointer. photo to come . he captured his hunt on video. Tuesday my old-lady who is 8 and a half month pregnant calls me the night before and say i want to go, is it a far walk to stand. ill be there after i drop mason off the bus. http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx184/flukebait/DSC_1069-2.jpg[/img] we meet up and get in the ladder stand at 9:30. yup you guessed it a 11:30 and a 35 yard shot and small 7pt. the buck ran and was gone. it was super windy out and we think at the time she pulled the trigger with the wind blowing and a baby kicking her inside the shot was low. lots of pellet in ground. so i spent some time looking and found this dude dead 80 yard away with one (1) pellet int he heart. lucky but we take it. center deer. Tuesday night bill brown tagged out with a nice pine 8 pointer. Photo to come. Thursday night around 4:30 i have a nice big 6 pointer show up. he wasn't as big as the 8 i was going for but when i saw him it was just to good to let go. i took my time and was able to get my small video camera on the deer. one shot and he took off. thank you very much for the kind words. that buck jammed under the tree was a great hunt. ik was video taping my wife, the buck comes past at 10 yard and she bounced the arrow off his back. he ran 20 feet and stood there for 15 minutes. he started to walk away and she did have a shot. i had to swing the camera out of the way pick up the bow and shoot him at 36 yards. it liked to kill us getting him out of that trench. thanks again.

do your homework. www.b&hphotovideo.com lots of cameras there. the market is full of them. check your editing software also. you could probably get a good cam for about 1000 bucks.
