nothing out of the ordinary i live in braxton county and i shed hunt alot, they start shedding every year around that time period, the earliest fresh shed ive found was december 9th, last year it was december 16th

i live in braxton county and i havent seen to much activity yet, i think they are starting to stir a bit though

found my biggest shed today couldn't locate the match here is the atl here is a very happy me holding it up, made me number 19 so far

i find the majority of mine in fields, the rest in the woods. there are no food plots or corn fields to look in around here so the open fields do me the best of luck

well i went out after the winter storm hit and found this shed today 1/29/09, almost missed seein it this is after i dug it out of the snow and ice it was a fresh forker

yeah we had a good crop but i find the most of my sheds in fields

yeah there is a kicker point coming off of the main beam its pretty neat

found this shed on december 16th while muzzleloading then i found this nice side by side set i have picked most of these sheds up in december, a lot of them drop around that time here

i was just wondering how you all prefer to shed hunt. I shed hunt alone because no one that i know around here shed hunts. Do you all shed hunt by yourselfs or with a friend or family member? sometimes i think it would be nice to have someone to talk to while shed hunting but thats me. thanks
