I'm heading out in the morning for my opener of Turkey Season. The forcast is scattered thunderstorms... Oh well, it could be worse, I could be at work!

Jeff, Steel is the way to go if you are planning on staying at your present house for many years. It will cost a bit more than shingles but if you get a good quality steel it will outlast you and I. The only real con is, the darker colors will show a little fading over the years. On the other hand, I can shingle your garage for less than half of your years wages.
