Hunted Sat and Sunday, very windy on Saturday, did see 4 deer both mornings, smal does and fawns. Will be out again Friday morning. Hope you guys have some luck, we need points on the board...

Our opening day for bow is this Sat, stands are set, cameras taking pic, lot of Does, one nice looking 8 point.. see what Sat morning brings..Congrats to you guys that have taken a deer, good luck to all of us..

Just checking in guys, I've been busy this week but I managed to hang another stand in a nice spot, hope it works. Four weeks untill bow season opens here. hope we all have a good season.

hey guys some good looking deer you have gotten. I have not been in the woods for a week or so. IT will be the end of the week before i get out again.. my Father in law has been sick and passed this week, and well family always comes first. but i will be back at it by weeks end. keep knocking down some good ones,,,

today was a good day, i was able to get permission to hunt a 100 acre section of property that has had no pressure at all this year. Some good deer have come off of there. My son and I will be in tree stands there early sunday morning..... can not wait..

Hey guys, between work and some rain storms I have not gotten a lot of time in the woods. Last Wednesday only saw 1 deer in the 3 hours I was in the stand and that was at the crack of dawn. Saturday was a rain out and Sunday I got to see a small button buck and a very small 4 point.. he barley made it to his ears ..then it got a bit warm out.. working all week and will be back out on saturday.. hope you guys have some luck

I am blowing off work on Wednesday, have things to do in the afternoon, so instead of taking a half day off I will take the morning to be back in a tree stand, get a few hours of hunting in.. maybe it will be worth an extra day off..

Yesterday we lucked out here in southern NY, (Dutchess county). The weather was ok, rain held out all day even saw the sun for a few minuets. For me it was great day to be in the woods. 13 deer 7 were fawns one of those was a button buck that made it to be a small spike about 2 inches long, he walked less then 10 yards from my tree, he got the free pass. The rest were adult does and two bucks a nice looking 4 point and one other buck that all i could see was that there were antlers on its head. No chance for a shot on the adult deer just far enough out of range, fawns well they had no clue i was there. All in all it was a good opening day here.. best of all I did not see another person in the woods. hopefully good signs for the start of the season, plenty of time left good luck everyone. __________________

The weather is not looking good for Saturday and the opening day of bow here in southern NY. We may only have a few hours before it rains, but then again thats all it takes to knock one down. I will keep you guys updated.

Saturday is our opening day for bow here in the southern zone of new york. i will be in a tree stand nice and early. we have pic of some bucks, lots of does and their fawns. hopefully something comes walking by saturday. good luck to you guys.

OK I have had enough waiting to be a grandfather, take her for a ride in your truck on a long bumpy road. I want to hold my grandson, before bow season would be a bonus, 11 days and counting down !!!!
