I have been hunting for 32 years and finally decided to try bow hunting!! I didn't go all out I bought a used bow ( PSE NOVA) and a new rest W/B picked up a few sticks ( easton ) and am starting to shoot a little . Got to get used to the release... I am hitting pretty good at about 20 to 25 yards.. season don't open till september so i'll have plenty of time to practice!!!

I got home last night and seen 4 yotes around my female HUSKEY breed dog. Before i could get in and grab a gun they had already run to the bottom of the holler. Got my calls and let out a few howels to no luck. ther is no night hunting allowed for yotes in KY ,but i am going to set up this evening to try to eliminate a few problems. we also have chickens and rabbits and if the yotes get to them it would break my 3 year olds heart. I know i will be crossing the line but, what would you do ????

Just wanted to say good luck to all of the FL turkey hunters. today starts it off. I still have a few weeks left to wait!!!
