The following letter was in the Cheers & Jeers section of the May 2007 issue of Field & Stream. I thought you gals & guys would like to read what this "gentleman" has to say about women. Marti A REAL CATCH I was reading the latest issue of F&S and realized that you were putting a lot of material about women in your magazine (Cheers & Jeers). You should be running full-page ads telling sportsmen to write to their congressmen and get them to pass laws making it illegal for women to fish or hunt. I think you had better get your priorities straight. Fishing and hunting are for men only. A woman's job is to clean and cook the fish or game, serve it to men, and do the dishes afterward. Turkeys generally go to higher ground when they come off the roost. So I would probably set up on top on the open field. I would set one hen decoy out and just give him a few soft yelps to let him know I'm there. Good Luck!
