Thanks Ryan. I'm having Jason Delue in Okay do the mount for me. I have 400 acres of private land in between Fort Gibson and Okay that I do most of my hunting on. Except turkey hunting, I usually hunt turkeys on public land in Cherokee county. To this day I still have not killed a turkey. I hope this spring will be the year.

Finally I killed my biggest deer to date. It all happend on Dec. 3 here in the northeast part of Oklahoma. I had been hunting very hard up to the morning of this kill with little success. I had only had 3 chances at bucks, but I made a vow to myself and my wife that this deer season I wouldn't kill any small Bucks, I did manage to shoot my first coyote though, which was awesome, But anyhow on dec. 2nd me and my brother decided to hunt a piece of property that we had not hunted since the beginning of muzzle loader season. It ended up being the best decision I had made all year. So we hit the land at about 5. 30 am and set ourselves up for a morning hunt. Not 10 min after daylight I noticed 2 deer step out on the wheat field, both were does. The does stood around for awhile and no bucks showed up so I decided to fill my doe tag, ka boom, I dropped the biggest one in her tracks. Well we went and got the truck and loaded her up. I figured she was probably 100 lbs. We checked her in and cleaned her up, and decided to go back out that evening. At 3.00 pm we pulled back up to our property and noticed that there was already deer in the same field I had killed the doe in hours earlier. So we flanked the deer and set up on the back side of them. Hoping to catch them going to the bed. We sat and sat and sat some more with no sign of deer. Then about 10 min before dark I seen a huge buck crossing a clearing through a timber line. And sure enough he stops, so I get my gun on him super quick and ka boom, I MISSED! So disappointed in myself I went home and played it over and over in my head. Well the next morning I went by myself cause my brother had other things he needed to do. Contemplating where to set at, I chose the same place where I had missed the big buck the night before. When daylight cracked I noticed 3 deer come through the clearing, they all were does. After they left i sat for at least a good hour with no sign of anything. Then finally I seen a deer on the edge of the clearing. I pulled my gun up and looked through my scope and it was the same buck that I had missed the night before. I eased my gun up aimed and ka boom, he dropped. I hoped up and went to him and realized I had just killed the biggest buck of my life. And my first wall hanger. He's a main frame 9 pt with 2 kickers, so I called him an 11 pt. I'm super happy. My whole deer season finally came true. Hope you like the pic!

Hey guys. I got a little question. Does anybody know what kind of choke tubes a western field shotgun takes. i have a 12 gauge, and am looking to put a turkey choke on it. I have no idea what kind i need to put on it. Im new to turkey hunting, and i just want to make sure i get the right choke put in my gun, i would hate to put the wrong one in it and blow my gun up.

Hey okies, Some of you may remember a website that was up about 2 years ago. It was called Okieoutdoors.com. Well a few things happend to the site and unfortunately it was shutdown. My brother-in-law, Kevin has since then re-opened the website. Its got few members as of now, and were not trying to take any thing away from realtree but we are just getting the word out to our fellow okies, and we would be more than happy if any okie joined. I at one time was what i thought to be a very religous person. I lost interest in it when some family issues went down, But i never did stop beliving in god. well i say i was religous but i actually grew up in church, And low and behold my dad was 1 of the minsters of our church, there was things contridicting themselves as to what was being taught. So im left not knowing what to belive, I FEEL IM A LOST CAUSE OF LIFE. I dont know what to belive anymore. The worst thing tho is that it seems like when i stoped praying to god that things started gettin worse as time goes along. Seems like i have a hard time gettin along with ppl. Me and my to be wife seem to agure alot these days, seems like my life went to **** in a hand basket And i dont know what to do. I love my girl so much and want to spend the rest of my life with her, i never want to lose her. Anybody got anykind of adivise for me, and this post is not a joke. I need help. What do i do

Thanks guys. Funny story here, and well its the first time this has ever happend in my life. The same day that i killed that buck with my bow, i really started to get pumped up. I had originally planed on not hunting with a rifle this year and just strictly bow hunt, but somehow the anticipation of killin another buck sat in. So i called my uncle, and was like dude i gotta rifle hunt..... He was like well, justin, lets giter- done this evening. I was like seriously today... i havent even got a tag yet. He was like well go to walmart and get 1. So i go get the tag and all , and me and my uncle got to the winter wheat field at about 3.00 pm. I go to my spot and he goes to his. Well earler in the first part of bow season i had been seeing this really nice 8 pt i wanted, but as deer hunting goes i stop seeing him come out on the field after muzzle loader season. With that said now back to my hunt.. Alright im setting here and im thinking god i hope this buck shows up. The evening rolls on and No sign of any deer. Well its startin to get last shooting light and i catch a glimps of a deer step on the field.. I look through the scope on my 234 win and i start shaking..... Its the Big 8pt i had been seeing the early part of season. Get this! he is 200 yards from me. Its bout dark so its do or die for me. I put the crosshairs right on his front shoulder and BOOOOOM, he drops like a sack of taters. I was so freakin happy. He field dressed out at 152 lb and has 8 typical pts with a lil kicker. ill get some pics of him posted up when i get more time.

Finally after many hours of bowhunting, i was lucky enough to put a boiler room shot on this 8 pt this morning. I seen so many deer this morning, and finally a 5 yrds i picked one big enough to take and waaaaak. 15 yard and he fell over. hope ya like the picture

Well i actually some what agree with you hoosier. Thats why i dont go to any church. because i can not find a church that teaches straight out of the bible. Im the type of person that when i do something i want to do it for real. I dont like to do things the fake way. For instance if i want to go deer or turkey hunting im not going to pop a cd- rom in to my computer and hunt fake animals online. No, im going to load up in my truck and hit the real woods. Where as in serving god i want the real thing too. Not just a fake sideshow where some hyprocrite preacher acts like he is preaching the word of god but behind the curtain he is living a totally different lifestyle. And i havent been able to find a church where i can see the truth coming straight out of the bible without a preacher having to mix up some of his ideas or opinons in. And in my opnion the reason they do like to mix their ideas in, is because alot of the ideas and opnions is what the ppl of this world is wanting to hear. Because when it comes out of the preachers mouth it makes the ppl feel justified for some of the commandments and comands that god has gave this world to live by, that the ppl are not keeping , when they should be. They are giving the ppl what they want to hear. After all it is the ppl supporting those churches. Im sorry if all that offended any1 but you dont gotta be affilated with a certain building or group or church to have access to god

I can understand the whole going to church thing. But i also know that God is with us where ever we go. not just on sunday or saterday or whatever day you go to church on. Gods not just in a certain building on a certain day. he helps us through everyday every hour of are life. Many of you may remember sometime back there was a bunch of post made by me and a few other guys about the worldwide church of god and herbert w armstrong. I was involved in that religion for the 22 years of my life. Last year was such a very hard year/ good year for me but i came to see many faults and preconcived ideas that that church had/ has. I started seeing things in a different way lets just say. Not that im knocking that church by no means but i do know that alot of things that church was teaching was plain out wrong and untrue. So after doing many hours of praying and searching and contemplating i decided that that church was not for me. It may be right for some ppl but not for me. I now do not attend any church but that does not mean that god is not involved in my life. He very much is. I have gained very much wisdom and truth since the past 5 months i have stoped going there. But to wrap it all up i stone coldely belive that you dont haft to attend a certain building thats labeled as a church to be able to be nurished with the sprit of god.

Hey. I need a little advice. Im hunting a place in oklahoma on a small wheat field. Right up above the weat field is a pretty good sized hill or / mountian. I know the birds are roosting up on the hill and i can hear them gobbling every morning i go hunt. Here is the deal tho. between the hill and the field there is a creek at the bottom of the hill about prob 10 ft wide and i can get the birds to fly down off the roost and head my way but about the time the birds meet up with the creek they stop gobbling and it seems like they just dont wanna cross the creek. And unless i swim a 10ft wide and prob 6 to 7 foot deep creek there is no way for me to get across to be able to set up on the side of the hill. Does anybody have any suggestions on how i can get the birds to go ahead and fly over the creek and meet up with my field.
