  1. sorry i havent been on lately but our comp got a virus that crashed our computer. I did get a doe with the bow and finally got one with the rifle a small little 8 point but it is still a deer for points and for the freezer.
  2. THANKS FOR YOUR KIND WORDS. i WENT DEER HUNTING SAT AND SUN MORNING BUT IT GOT HOT ON ME HERE IN MISSOURI AND I SAW NO DEER AT ALL. I will keep trying as my freezer is kinda pitiful too.
  3. sorry i havent checked in for awhile as my dad died a couple weeks ago and i have been out of town alot lately i havent had much chance to check in or hunt ,but i am planning to hunt saturday morning i will try to get something down for us
  4. if no one else cares about the name i like TEAM AIRIAL ASSAULT
  5. dodgeman1 checking in. Sorry about the tardiness as i have been working alot and havent felt like getting on the computer much. I have had my cams out since turkey season and have a ton of pics of plenty of does and several reeeeeaaallly nice bucks. I will be hunting opening day of the bow season on sept 15 with crossed fingers and peeled eyes wish me luck and good luck to all on my team to all else good luck but not too good. I got a pic of a doe dropping a fawn earlier this year and will post it if one of the kids will show me how.
  6. i agree with alot of the people in here when they say to go with the 30.06 i have shot one for years and love it ,and as alot have said it is very versitile as you can buy or load for everything from varmints to very large game.
  7. i have had my cameras out with tag-out since april and the deer are absolutely tearing it up. i just like to see them grow from buttons to whatever they will end up being. just in case you dont know what tag-out is it is a rediculously good year round deer mineral. I would highly recommend it if it is legal where you hunt.
  8. i have had little experience with these vanes but what i have had seems to be that they stay glued to my aluminum arrows better than blazers with or without wraps. i am not bashing blazers as most of my arrows are still done with them , but i do like the fusions some better
  9. i usually use a223 but have put a few down with the 30.06 while deer hunting
  10. congrats on the yote i have gone a few times and so far a big lod goose egg, but i have been seeing them everywhere so i hope to change that soon
  11. i would guess even though he dont look real massive he will gross 150s and net 140ish
  12. dodgeman1 checkin back in. Have had alot of success since last check in. so far i have killed 6 does, and a really nice 14 point this past sunday. as i am computer illiterate my bro washi will post pics for me.
  13. dodge just checkin in . missed two deer this weekend. a 120ish buck at 20 yards, and a doe at 30ish both were jumpy and ducked the string. rifle season opens saturday and there is a huge 12 point hangin near my deer stand so fingers crossed. all i have to report . congrats to all who have scored so far , and good luck to all who haven't yet.
