    Quivers?

I use a cat quiver and attach it to my back pack works great!

    Bowsite question

I went to a Trophy Ridge a couple of years ago. In my opinion the vertical pin set up helps in low light conditions.
  4. Going to Colorado on a backcountry elk hunt the end of October. We take our own horses and pack in about 7 miles. Been hunting the same area since '99, usually have really good luck. Last year a 5x5, 3x4, and a cow. F
  5. I live and hunt in MO. I would pick the week of Nov 5. It seems like the rut is really hot right before our rifle season. However, I live in the central part of MO so things might start up a little earlier the farther north you get. I'm sure you will have good luck either week. Shoot Straight.
  6. Been using Muzzy 3 blades for years great broadhead. Any broadhead will work if it flies straight, it's sharp and you hit your target in the right spot.
  7. I had the same problem. I started using arrow wraps and my fletching problems decreased dramatically. Give this a try. If you like the WB I am confident the wraps will help.
  8. Does anyone out there use a muzzy zero effect rest? I have been thinking about trying one. If anyone has an opinion on this please let me know. Thanks.

    Mossberg 935

Re: Mossberg 935 why are you selling it?
  10. Has anyone shot the new Reflex Ridgeline yet? I just saw one at the bowshop last week. Didn't get a chance to shoot it. Just curious what you all think about it.
  11. I am curious as to how many of you use release loops on your bow and what are the main advantages? Thanks.

    Wraps

Re: Wraps I shoot a Whisker Biscuit rest and had a lot of trouble keeping vanes on my arrows. Since I started using the wraps I don't have that problem anymore. I think the fletching glue sticks better to the wrap than the arrow.
  13. Re: muzzleloading for elk Thanks for the input. Were you using the Aerotip or hollow point? Do you use loose powder? I have never used loose so I am looking for recomendations on what type of powder and how much.
  14. I am planning an elk hunt to Colorado during the blackpowder season this fall. I shoot a Winchester Apex .50 cal. 150 grains of Pyrodex pellets and 295 grain Powerbelt. This load works great on deer but I will have to switch to loose powder for Colorado. Does anyone have any good load recomendations for shooting loose powder? Thanks.
