  1. I don't know guys, we have seen quite a bit of activity in our area. I had a real nice 8 and two 4 pts chasing a doe crazy the 18th. My buddy actually had seveal chasing and fighting around him just this past Saturday morning. We never did see allot of scrapes or rubs in our areas, but we have been seeing a decent amount of chasing. Based on a report from Monday night though, it looks like it could be winding down. OK by me, winter patterning time!
  2. Hate the player, not the game...
  3. Jason said I may want to look into a new string also. This one is 4 years old...
  4. hmmmm...OK. I notice a bit of noise and ws hoping the backstop would cover it... Thanks for the info!
  5. Hey, want some opinion on this PSE Vengeance. You know them "Mathews-like" string suppressors they got on there? Your reckon I can chuck them in the trash and put a Vibracheck Backstop on there instead? Or run both? What say you?
  6. If that's the fully rifled barrel, then test out and select some sabots. 75 yards is a chip-shot with a scoped sabot gun.
  7. A. We have enough internet hunters (both celebrity and not) in IL..
  8. Not sure about the field either. I have used the M1 Super 90 in 12 the past three season with success each year. Just like any other gun, I'm sure it's just a matter of combining the right choke tube and ammo. Benelli makes good guns.
  9. I've got a Benelli M1 Super-90 with an H.S. Strut Undertaker choke tube and use Winchester Supreme #6 shotshells. I am 3 for 3 over the last 3 seasons.
  10. I shot a decent 8 on Friday afternoon and saw 3 other bucks. All were chasing hard on Friday.
  11. I bought them last year for my first year bow hunting. As indicated by others, they flew right with my field tips. At the same time, I also checked out some Muzzys. Both flew well. As for durability, I would say the Stikers are comparable to the muzzy. The heads are durable but the blades are very thin. I practice I damaged 1 Striker and 2 Muzzy...but that was from shots that were off target. I did not shoot a deer with one. (Tag soup for me in '07).
  12. Bottom line, please explain who shot all three deer, and if it was you, how did you legally harvest 3 bucks in a 2 buck limit state. If it's legit and legal, you'll get no more grief from here...I expect anyway.
  13. The only legit way is with landowner/nuisance tags. Too bad the dude ran for cover without replying...
