  1. our rut don't start until the end of january in south alabama and north florida. in alabama we get 3 bucks a year but in florida we can get 2 bucks a day every day of the season which starts in oct and ends the last of february...............tony
  2. mineral blocks don't do well around here. we get so much salt off the gulf rains that deer do hit them hard.......tony
  3. fl. ga. al. ms and kentucky................tony
  4. andrea, do you know danny godwin and his wife? she killed it on sweetwater. man it was a bull. one of the biggest i've ever seen on blackwater dead or alive..............tony
  5. i have one 3 part question or 3 one part questions.depends on how you look at it. the reason for the questions- theres another hunting party that hunts next to us. a lady killed one monday that is just about the biggest buck i've seen on the public land we hunt. her husband told me she killed it and i know them and have no reason to doubt it. however in telling this story to some friends i have recieved some interesting comments about it. first question- how many hunt but only go or hunt with your significant other? are any of you single hunters(started with family/friends/ex-husbands or by yourself)and still do it? and finally- do any of yall hunt but have a significant other that dosen't? i personally know of 3 women that hunt as hard as any man. they will punish the deer population if they have half a chance. 2 are married and 1 is single..............tony
  6. how much? and how much land? turkey season starts earlier for you so i would be interested..................tony
  7. my benelli is a turkey killing machine but its very noisy. the forearm pump grip makes alot of noise. i have put my hands on 8 different ones and they are all the same. plus they kick like a mule. limbsavers are a must...................tony
  8. florida is alittle behind the rest of the nation but were catching up. nowdays its not uncommon to see 100+in and 160/170 lbs deer. tony

most of the serious hunters i know run tracking collars on there hounds. i do too. and yes, i would go to your house and ask for my dog. have done it in the past. got the ticket to prove it. went on with my life and tried to keep up with them better.so far its been working..........tony
