  1. No, we are waiting a bit, depending on what we decide. We may even wait til 2011 to go depending on finances and getting non resident licenses.
  2. I'll be there this friday, opening day here. Of course, not as early as I'd like to be but a 7 month old does that to you. lol. And hopefully saturday I can get my 12 year old one. Her first real hunting was this past weekend. She got to see some and her step dad called some in but no luck so far. Sounds like you are off to a good season.
  3. That's awesome. Can't wait to go with my daughter this weekend. Hope we have the same luck!
  4. I'm getting married next year (June 2010) and we are going on a hunt some where west of the Mississippi for our honeymoon. I was looking for suggestions on places where some of you might have been. At this point, we haven't even decided what we want to go for. We both hunt white tail and turkey and also bow hunt here in NY. Thanks in advance for all of your help!
  5. I'm getting my significant other the Glen Del buck in rut target. Don't know what I am getting. He's hinted at a new gun or an iPod nano. I would take either one. As for the underarmour, it's underneath everything so camo or black is good. I wear it everytime for hunting and it is wonderful!
  6. We're getting ready to head to Stueben County tonight for some hunting. I'm excited because we get to hunt for 2 days with bow before shotgun opens up. It's been a few weeks since bow season ended here. I think the last time I shot my bow was before turkey season closed on October. Some turkeys were on our proerty so i thought I would take a whack. I ranged them at 22 yards, aimed at the biggest one and shot. They didn't really moved so I figured I must have missed and decided to take another shot. I went to range them again and was shaking so bad i couldn't get a reading! I told my Dad about and he laughed, saying if I got buck fever over a turkey, what would I have done if it was a buck? Found out a few weeks later when a 6 point stepped out in front of me with a 4 point. All of my hunting training paid off though because I could only see both deer from the neck up and wasn't comfortable taking a shot. I just watched them walk away and haven't seen them since. That made up for my buck fever in my Dad's eyes, as he was a hunting safety teacher here in NY for several years.
  7. Too many like that in our area. Gives us rednecks a bad name! lol. Hope you catch them Joe.
  8. I was just mowing lawn on the rider...sweating. Looks like I'll be dressing light for the stand tonight.
  9. Thanks for that. Although I probably won't be able to figure it out!!
  10. I would love to see him in concert. Bet he puts on a good show. Have fun!

Sorry to hear your hardship that your season is over;) Congrats on your deer. I think you realize at this point we need pics?
  13. Hope you get back out there soon so we can see the pics
  14. My muzzy's fly just like my field tip. I guess the real test will be when that brown steps out.
