I would get the Weatherby, Howa and Weatherby are the same thing. I have 2 Howas now, and with reloads the all will easily shoot under MOA.

Forgot your bow? Now that is being awful forgetful lol. Worst I have done is forget my coat before going down to hunt in Texas when I was 10. Got about an hour away and remembered it was laying on the couch, didn't think much of it. Shouldn't be that could, should it? Well I was wrong it was about 20 degrees in the mornings, man was I cold.

The local guy down here said he got an e-mail saying that all ammo was being produced and sent to our troops and to Israel. So they were not making as much ammo for other calibers, and 223 is all being made to ship to other countries. All ammo except for Hornady, I think, went up 15% September 1, and is supposedly goin up another 15% at the first of the year(Hornady is 25% I think). The 15% increases were for like 243, 308, 30-06, etc. 223 went up 25%. Believe what you want to believe the story about all the ammo going to Iraq maybe just a story. I know that I am glad I reload, and even that is getting expensive. A bottle of Varget I bought last fall was 17 dollars then, I went to get another bottle about 3 weeks ago and it was 27 dollars.

I put some Rain X on mine and it works for a little while. I think it recommends that you not put it on stuff like that, but I was tired of them fogging over when I was shooting this summer.

I wish we were having that problem, I would rather sit in the rain(in a covered blind that is) than sit in this 90+ heat we have been having.

I went a few times, but it was very hot. I didn't go today at all it was way too hot, about 95. Waiting for the middle of the week, it is suppose to drop down a little bit cooler.

I have two Howa's now. For the money they are hard to beat. I have a 22-250, which I load 52 gr. A-Max's for, and it shoots under 3/4 inch at a hundred pretty easily. I also have a Howa in a 223, it use to shoot atleast 1 inch group, I haven't shot it much since I broke a screw on the trigger(And maybe since I now have a Bushmaster Predator...). Howa's are very good shooting guns that are overlooked by many, if not a Howa I would deffinately go with a Savage for the money they are also hard to beat.

We bought a couple this summer to take when we went catfishing and they deffinately worked very well.

The kicker is a bonus that I also like, I am ready to get out there and shoot some hogs though lol

I was thinking 125-130 but I am not all that great at scoring them.

I have a Bushmaster Predator also. It is a sweet shooting gun. I am trying to find a Bushmaster 450 but no one can get them.
