    Sight advice

If you haven't tried the Summit Hot Dot you don't know what you are missing.I can shoot 0 to 45 yds. in a tree stand and not worry about yardage. You can also set single pins there are six single dots by just turning a dial.I shot a doe at 45 yds. and a nice buck right under my treestand 20' up.Its nice looking at just that little red dot. Great in low light. You can brighten dot in day time or dim it in low light.Everything is inclose and only weights onces. Best sight I' used in 20 yrs. of bowhunting. You have to try it to see how good it realy is.It is pricey but worth ervery dollar.Mil.

    Question

When I fine tune my bow with paper or bare shafts, instead of moving my nocking point,Ihave a string loop.I move my rest up or down.Is this the same as moving the nocking point,it's **** to move the string loop.Does this work out to the same thing. Thanks Sim:confused:

  6. Just got back from the Pro shop.Got my XX75 2314 eastons fletched with Bohning 2" Blazers.New I was in trouble when I got home on the bottom of my truck floor was a fleching that had come off.I shot a few arrows and about 4 out of 15 had fletching come off.The Pro shop said he had never put Blazers on aluminum arrows before. What kind of glue do you guys use.Thanks,Mil.
  7. You need to shoot your field tips.If they shoot the same as your broadheads just try moving your sights. If they are shooting on target you need to paper tune. Its not the muzzys.Good luck Mil.
  8. I shoot an easton xx75 2314 arrow 27" long from a hoyt bow set @ 60#.Do you think the bohning 2" blazer would shoot good thru my wisker biscuit or should I go to 4" vanes.Should I get the shrink wraps or put them on w/ my fletching jigs. Thanks Mil.
  9. I still think paper tune is the way to go.Never seen a bow in the 220-250fps.shoot the same @ 10yds.&20yds.At least 1 to 3ins.difference. Must be that light northern air.Don't shhot that way down south.LOL.

    Whisker Biscuit

Wisker Biscuiet Remodel Shucks Muzzy 61 I thought I had done something new.Been shooting a bow for 36 yrs.Just like to experiment a little. After I paper tuned it the vanes didn't wrinkle I just started shooting them off.Must be the rest or my new Summit hotdot. Now I love them both.

    Whisker Biscuit

:DGot tired of fletching damage.Got out sharp pointed scissors and cut out vane clearance on biscuit.Shoots better and no vane wrinkling. What do ya'll think.Observations?
  12. You are right about the colors, but in the pendulum mode its just one pin. Also you can dile the yardage and just one pin shows. So far I like looking @ just one pin. Good sight picture. Thanks for the input. Mil.
  13. Has anyone used Summit's new bow sight. How do you set the deluxe model for the fixed pin mode for 10 and 20 yd.Anyone using this sight. All info appreciated.
