nice bear. but hes not 600 pounds ha.. iv been bear hunting my whole life.. hes probly around 300 pounds

Ive been baiting with all kinds of pastrys lik donuts, cakes, muffins ect. and grease. im using a barrel and im baiting in spruce and poplar mostly spruce..

IM 17 yrs old and have been hunting for bear for the past 3 yrs and this was my first yr tying for fall bear. All my spring baits go just great i have done the exact same thing to bait 4 bear as i would in the spring but its been week 3 and still nothing. Im not sure wat im doing wrong:confused: Really stressin out that im not gunna get my bear this fall does anyone have any ideas of wat im doin wrong or if theres different ways to bait in the fall cause ive tryed everything:(

not the best at judjing bears on my trail cam but is this a big bear ? this bear is a sow with to yearling she looks pretty good well i think anyways. i noticed her nose is quit small does that mean anything?

It was a typical late november day in saskatchewan. - 30'c with snow up to ours knees and the rut in full swing. superguide_jr took me out to his favorite hot spot during the rut that he likes to call "The Swamp". We were constanly seeing bucks chasing does but none big enough to tag. By around 5:30 our faces were frozen solid and i didnt even know if my toes would ever un thaw until superguide_jr tapped me on the shoulder and said theres "ol broken nose" i couldnt believe the words he just said till i looked through my binocluars to see the huge brute. He was comin straight towards use nose down, ears back and looking for a doe to love or a smaller buck to kick the snot out of. We eased our way a lil closer till he was at 150 yards then superguide_jr told me to "stack him up" I placed my cross hairs on him and pulled the trigger. I seen the giant kick and bolt into the bush and with high fives and fist pumps we made our way to where the buck had headed in. I was movin' along lookin' for blood till superguide_jr punched me in the arm and pointed towards my trophy which had only ran 30 yards after i blew out both lungs with my 270. Then for the first time I seen why superguide_jr called him "ol' broken nose". His nose looks like one of an old retired boxer lol. The buck scores 160 which is good for a 4x4 and has a huge bladed g2 that is 13" long. deffinatly a hunt i will never forget.

i must not be seein wat u guys do i think hes only bout 160 he just looks a lil bit bigger cause u got ur cam so close to ur bait u should move it back a bit buddy great buck thou. man r there necks ever gettin big:D:D

might as well count me in ill give er a shot

hey guys saskbrute here i took a 156 the other day 5x5:D. i think i uploaded the pictures in the right place. if not can someone point me in the right direction:) headin out tommoro for another buck me and my buddy have been seein hopefully i see him again.

Once again superguid jr and i track down another brute. friday after school i was just goin to head out and get a doe but quarter to 4 i get a call from superguid jr sayin lets go get u a buck buddy. so i go get superguid and we head out. ty sets me up on a bush line over looking this loggin area and as im sittin there superguid goes over to the other end of this loggin area thinkin he would sent push a narly ole buck out fer me. i was only sitten there for about 10 min after ty left and bucks just start funneling out exactly where ty said they would. after the 9th buck came out then this guy steped out and i new right away that this buck was a shooter. it was about a 150 yrd shot but thats nothin the ole 270 coulnt handle so i put the cross ars on him and down he went all thanks to super guid jr:D

id say 135 let em walk if yah see him there'll be more buck around where ever u got ur spot man nice to see the bucks around more now though eh ole bud:(

yah hes is a nice young bush buck i think ima let him walk if he comes by wen im there. hopefully in a couple years he'll be around still. but there will be other good deer comin in the next couple weeks:rolleyes: mabe ill get a shot at them:D
