I want to get a turkey in full strut but that one wasn't big enough. I shot one a few years ago I should have had mounted it was 24 lbs 10 inch beard and 1.5 inch spurs.

I got in my blind at 6 and I started calling right at daylight and had one gobbling then another then 3 other ones started. Well about 10 minutes later I looked down over the hill on a flat and there he was struttin around. He gobbled once and just kept struttin around there for about 15 to 20 minutes which seemed forever. I called real aggressive and he run up to the logging road and strutted for 3 or 4 minutes. So again i called aggressively and he came up the last hill and started my way struttin came to around 40 yrds and started to turn so I shot and he flopped. He got stuck in some vines and kept flopping around and tore off half of his feathers which sucked but I got him. He weighed 21 lbs had a 8 inch beard and 1 inch spurs. I have one more tag to fill so I'll be back after them at the end of the week.

I got these pic's over the past month I just thought everyone would enjoy them. The one thats always struttin in the pics seems pretty big to me.

Good luck on catching a big brown they are hard to catch. I think i hooked the same fish a month ago in the same hole.

Oh yeah it was 23 3/4 inches and 6 lbs.

Here's a picture of a brown I caught this weekend here in West Virginia. I'm really happy with it I'm going to get it mounted. I caught it using a trout magnet and 2 lb test that was a fun fight. I have been wanting a brown for a number of years to get mounted I want one of every trout that we have in West Virginia so as of now I'll have 2 done the brook and brown.

Yeah it would make a difference because the glendel full rut is 3 inches thicker I'm pretty sure than the one I got.

I bought the reg. glendel buck my bow is shooting around 321 and the arrows were sticking out the back about 2 inches. At that rate it won't take long for my arrows to be going alot farther through.

Well I went and got the glendel yesterday and thought I'd try it out today kind of disappointed in it. I was shooting and 20 yrds hitting it in the heart and my arrows were sticking out the back of the target on the first 3 shots and the arrow removal was kind of difficult and started to pull the middle out of the target:angry:.

Yeah those are pretty good pics to bad it wasnt a big buck coming to him.

Thats good im just going to get the standard size one I don't need the full rut one.

I had a couple pics of one a couple years back even had a couple little ones with it and I haven't saw or got pics of it since.

How many people have shot and liked or disliked this target. I had thought about going to get one tomorrow to start shooting. The target I have now won't hold up to my new bow anymore. The destroyer is fast and hits really hard so hopefully that tartget will hold up.

My buddy has been getting pics of him the past few days out in the fields in the daylight now.

Another reason I passed on him it was the beginning of november could build myself to shoot a small one like that. If i was the last day of bowseason I more than likely would have shot it.

I'm sure alot of ppl would have shot that deer but i can't wait to see what he makes next year.

I would say high 130's not much deductions from that deer and not alot of mass.

We are going to put out some mineral sites and a few food plots this year I can't wait to see him next year just hope I get too.

I had this buck 4 yrds from me with my bow in the beginning of novermber. I let him go cause I think he is 2.5 to 3.5 kind of regret it now cause of his palmation on that one side cause its so big. I just hope he keeps it this year and gets alot bigger. That pic was just 3 or 4 days ago so he made it through the season so far just has to make the winter.

Ive been getting bucks that I didn't know that were around too. Have to be looking for food for sure with all the snow and everything. Thats a monster hope he sticks around for you next year.
