  1. I have everything out of velvet except for my young deer, have some nice pictures with the bucks and the velvet hanging off of them.
  2. The best advice I can give you is start off by getting a decent camera, For the money I would spend a little more and get an HD camera, Out of the 15 guys that I'm filming with this year I think 5 or 6 of them are using the Hf s20 real reasonible and shoots very clear footage. And toddyboman is right the next thing you need is a camera arm. There are a lot on the market right now, some are ok and some are terrible. The only one I would not reccommend is the gorilla the head isn't very fluid which makes the footage very jerky. That should get you started, editing can be done after the fact.
  3. Hey Boys just stopping by, wishing everyone a good season!! Starting here on October 1st.
  4. I have got some more pictures with a 10 that I'm calling thor!! The best part about the summer is following the deer you'll be chasin in the fall I think, it's got me hooked
  5. I always find it pretty cool to name your deer, if you see um on a regular bases and become pretty close with the animal some people like to name their bucks, so whatcha got this year who ya chasin. I have four decent bucks that are mature that I'm going after this year. I'm naming one dozer because he's pretty thick aroung the bases and another my little brother came up with is Kong, just because he's pretty massive, haven't figured out names for the other two just yet, but I have some ideas, zues and maybe Hollywood II because he looks like a deer that I called Hollywood last year. So lets hear your nicknames for the ones you'll be chasin this year.
  6. Will that work with my thompson center endevor?
  7. Anyone ever use this scent before? I'm thinking of getting the buck scent and VS1 scent in use with combination with my two decoys in late october?
  8. I have behind the house located an 80 acre bean field and earlier in the summer were getting lots of pictures of some good bucks. Now that the corn has grown high enough for the deer to be in I have not recieved any pictures on my trail cam. In your experience do the deer eat the pods on the bean plants or just the leafs. I was just wondering if their going to be back in the bean fields eating again before the beans get hard? Thanks
  9. Heres the link ‪Guns - Justin Moore‬‏ - YouTube
  10. There 230.00 on cabelas. If I get a chance between classes I'll post some pixs up next week for you to look at
  11. For me it's about shooting a mature buck, not antlers. It's not about meat, or horns, it about preperation and the challenge "The actual Hunt"
  12. I love mine, doesn't have the greatest zoom but shoots crystal clear shots
  13. I bought one and love it, has 30 sec videos and takes still picture every 15 seconds. And since I have a couple 2 gb cards i'm not too woried of filling up my cards. I checked it the first two days I had it out there and i had 150 pictures. Its a solid camera that's very dependable..Oh and the best part is is the battery life! With my old cudde back i would go through batteries all the time I've probably taking close to 2000 pictures already and the battery is still at 99 %.
