Started my own website last night I have tons of photos, videos, audio tapes, articles, columns, and my own thoughts have been sitting on the computers just fading away. Not sure who will have an interest but since I am still out of work and hunting season is gone it gives me something to keep me busy. It's a rough start, but it's a start. North American Wildlife and Habitat This will be the only time I post it hope that ok with realtree. Maybe some day I figure out how to make a or two with a website.

Here some information they have these around the country each year. Maybe they will have one closer to you next year. For Immediate Release February 14, 2011 Media Contact: Lindsay Thomas (800) 209-3337 or [email protected] Special destination tours added to the Quality Deer Management Association’s (QDMA) Deer Steward Courses The QDMA is stepping up the attraction power of its Deer Steward courses this year with special destination tours, including Jeff Foxworthy’s Georgia farm, Dr. Grant Woods’ Missouri “Proving Grounds,” and a 9,000-acre QDM Cooperative in Minnesota. If you’re considering becoming a QDMA Deer Steward, take a close look at this year’s course schedule. The Deer Steward Certification program is a multi-level personal educational experience designed to offer landowners, hunters and natural resource professionals an opportunity to learn from the world’s top experts about QDM. The first two Levels are actual courses, and Level III is an application process; all three need to be taken in succession. By taking both Levels I and II, graduates are able to design and implement their own comprehensive property-specific white-tailed deer management plan. So, for the price of a new firearm or bow, attendees in essence gain enough knowledge to become their own deer manager. Each course follows the Four Cornerstones of QDM as a guideline. Level I courses include nearly 20 presentations over a two-day period, followed by an optional half-day field trip; Level II courses involve more hands-on experience. Attendees will learn techniques on aging deer jawbones; taking soil samples and interpreting soil test results; determining acreage of food plots and calibrating equipment; population surveys; forest and early succession habitat management; analyzing harvest data; making property maps; and much more. Level III status is the recognition of those who have given back to the whitetail resource over a long period of time, rather than something you can learn in one weekend. 400-plus Deer Stewards QDMA’s Deer Steward certification program has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from graduates. Last year, the fourth year of the program, brought the total number of graduates to more than 400 individuals. There were many high points in 2010, including five sold-out classes for the second consecutive year, and the most attendees in a single year. Past students now hail from 34 states, three Canadian provinces and one of the United States’ Virgin Islands; a map is posted on QDMA.com and shows the number and level of graduates represented in each state or province across North America (visit Certify – Quality Deer Management Association) 2011 Dates and locations: Level I Courses: • March 11-14 – Ottertail, MN at Thumper Pond Resort o Field Tour: Hudalla Farms and 9,000 acre “Rivers Edge” QDM Co-op • April 15-18 – Pine Mountain, GA at The Lodge & Spa at Callaway Gardens o Field Tour: Jeff Foxworthy’s personal farm, “The Beloved” • May 13-16 – Branson, MO at Barrington Hotel & Conference Center o Field Tour: Dr. Grant Woods’ “The Proving Grounds” o Special reception: Bass Pro Shops Big Cedar Lodge Level II Courses: • June 10-13 – Bogart, GA at QDMA National Headquarters • June 24-27 – Hillsdale, MI at Sit n’ Bull Farm Registering for a 2011 Course To register, call 800-209-3337 or visit Quality Deer Management Association and click the REACH Program link and then the REACH Certification link. HD Helmet HERO for 299.00 looks like the best deal for the hunting elememts. Shockproof, Bombproof, Waterproof Does anyone have one, or seen this before.

Very Educational, Very Funny and Very Entertaining. Even better. Pro Hunting and kids and adults both loved him. http://www.bwanajim.com/ I filmed just a short part of each segment. and Part 2 If you have event for kids and can afford to have him I believe you would enjoy.

Have been working on the imagery for the store. Since the x-mas is over and has slowed down when the bad weather hits. Here is the first part of changing Glass Garage doors into a store front windows. I ran out of antlers so here what I have done so far. Will put short wall and log sidding on the bottom then they will just look like windows. Have some stained glass film wildlife scene ovals coming to try out so that it will reduce the sun & heat thru windows but still let people see in. Changed the metal handle out on the entry door on the outside and inside. I did have a single antler on the inside but while drilling hole put to much pressure and snap the end off, so I had to go to plan be, but still turned out.

Rough Scored is around 295 typical, be glad to have you in. Thanks for all the comments. I have it set up so that people can sit on rocks in front of it and have their photo taken. Here photo of the sun on it, lot better detail. -
New store only been open 5 months. Have been working on store logo, sign and Icon for the front of store for about 3 months. I hope and think you will like some of it, is very cool. Still have about 2 to 3 weeks before complete. Wanted to get large rocks, use Missouri Native Grasses and have the sign built into rock with large whitetail on top. Did some drawings for people to work with. Had it priced one company was 20,000 whole deal another wanted 5000 for rock. To much for a new business to handle. Well it is all give and take when your start from scratch. Got the rock for free from a work site and went with a company to make a sign that look more natural since I could not do it on the rock. This was step 1, 2 and 3 Got rock, dirt and sign. Have since done step 4 and 5 got the Missouri Native Grasses and mulch in. Blue Wild Indigo Lanceleaf Coreopsis Longhead Coneflower Purple Poppy Mallow Smooth Aster Shining Blue Star Rose Verbena Sand Phlox Soft Rush Tussock Sedge Praire Dropseed Little Bluestem It growing and blooming already but plants are just taking off. Won't plant trees till late fall. Next was the deer wanted something that would be ICON for the area. Might not remember name but will remember this. That is the deer I did a drawing and then guy working on it and guy working on it for me took it from a deer to the icon. This will be our logo, for shirts, hats, truck signs and the template for the deer our front. The one out front of the store. The overall size is 84" tall and 85" wide Here is the first part cut out just the head. Still lots to do too it. Here is the whole deer he has about weeks worth of work, but thought you guys might like this reason for entire post. Can't wait till it complete.
