I purchased a digital stealth cam trail camera this year and I have had so many problems with it. I like using the digital camera in that it saves a lot of money from buying film and developing film, but I have gotten so little amount of pictures this year. I just thought that i had the worst luck getting deer to cross my camera, but today I went by my feeder and saw 4-5 different deer tracks going by my camera and feeding in my feeder and my camera didnt go off on any of the deer! Has anyone had this type of problem before with their trail cameras or is it just the stealth cams? Is there anyway to fix this problem?

contrary to what many think...i have read a lot of deer study's that have found that if you live in an area that has normally higher temps such as the deep south then the deer move better when its warmer, but if you live where its cooler then they move better when its colder...but anytime you can be in the woods is a good time.

i live in ohio and if they ever make hunting with cell phones illegal i will be very upset...ur cellphone is your number 1 safety tool while hunting if you get hurt or lost or whatever you have the ability to call a buddy and get help....even if its illegal in the future im still taking it so arrest me....i never go into the woods without a cell phone

What is your favorite type of flashlight to use to find blood trails I am looking to buy a new flashlight to find deer and was wondering what is the best

saw a monster 140 class 8 pointer the other day as i was walking to my stand bedded down with a doe already so things are starting to stir up NOVEMBER HERE WE COME!

My sister shot her first buck last night around 615ish and after about 20 min we both got down and looked at where she shot the deer. We found a few drops of blood where the deer was hit and it looked like very dark red thick blood. She thought she hit the deer well maybe like 3-4 inches behind the crease of the shoulder. We backed out and came back to look this morning and found her arrow covered in a lot of blood but only found a blood trail that lasted about 20 yards from where she shot the deer then it stopped. I need some help and advice on what you think she hit and do u think the deer's dead? I think she got one lung and maybe some liver. We are going back to check again later today but I have a feeling the meat will be spoiled

have not seen any bucks as well this year. i have been out 12 times already and the deer movement has been really slow. I hope it gets better since it looks like it might get cooler next week. I cant wait until november. Im guessing that the weather has been hurting the rut progression. We need colder weather asap.

Whats everyone's opinions on trail cameras spooking deer. Do you think harms your hunting spot if you place a trail camera in the area that might spook the deer. I have seen trail cameras and video monitors with no flash but they are very expensive. I have heard from videos that people think it spooks deer. Just wondering what you guys think!

sounds good...just make sure you do not put those wafers in the same bag you store your scent lok suit or clothes because the carbon will wear out no matter if its human scent or wafer scents.

sounds like a stupid idea if you ask me....do you really think tinks, code blue etc. would put deer urine on the market that had CWD? I think not. By the way don't they use penned up deer anyway for the scents and wouldn't they be able to tell if the deer they were extracting from had CWD. Also how in the heck does a deer get CWD by smelling a scent? HMMMM????

i dont base my hunting off of them i was just wondering if anyone has seen matches with the forecast and seeing deer....i am going out tomorrow as well and it says at 8 am its supposed to be as high as the graph goes for excellent so hopefully i see something!

its a good thing you backed out overnight...i bet you find her tho she sounds like she was hurtin....i just hope the meat will be okay with this warm weather

Anyone know the proper way to wash a scent blocker suit without damaging the carbon lining? Do you use the scent eliminating detergent or is there a special detergent for scent blocker suits??

Has anyone really payed attention to the fish and game forecast presented on this site. Has any had any luck with the predicted times of movement and actually seeing deer? I am just wondering how accurate that thing is?

wait for the rut obviously if you dont whack him before...wait until the rut and you should have a good shot of whacking him in the daylight...or if you have a big food source on your farm....if you dont kill him at the rut you could always ahve a chance during winter on a food source.

Did you call in bucks more with the growl or just the grunt?
