Finally got to go out a little yesterday. I had been up in my stand for maybe an hour (got out late like 9 am cst) when I hear voices. I look and my dad, my step mom and my daughter are walking and talking coming straight to my stand. I decided right then that I wasnt going to have any luck so I get down and walk a little of the ways out. I hear something to my right and see 2 deer running through the brush. I motion for dad and them to be quiet and my step mom just waves at me. So I kneel down, get my release back on and walk over towards the pond bank. At about 60 yards through brush I see a doe running nonchalantly through a little opening towards some more thick cover. Then I see a BIG buck following her nonchalantly. I know he had at LEAST 5 points on one side. I think he hemmed her up in the brush for a while. At least I know where to set now because I found a HUGE rub and scrape back behind that pond bank with a lot of tracks as well. Hopefully Ill get to get out some this weekend to try to get that big boy. It sure made my heart beat faster though. They didnt even see me or pay any attention because they were so preoccupied.

Well my sister will be in the hospital could be up to 6 weeks but I think she will have the girl before then. She is doing good and so is the baby girl. The Dr's say that they give my sister a 90% chance of having the baby before 34 weeks so Mia will have to be fed by tubes but she is in one of the best hospitals around so I have faith they will both be ok.

I was supposed to be hunting all weekend since today is our season opener but I may be in OKC instead since my sister got mediflighted there last night due to pregnancy complications.

Please pray for my sister. She got mediflighted to OU Medical last night due to going into early labor. The original due date was December 15th but I think that was off because they said she was 31 weeks and the full term is at 37 weeks. Both her and the baby are doing good but she will more than likely have to stay at the hospital until she has it which could be up to 6 wks. If by some SLIM chance that she gets to come home, she will be on bedrest only able to get up for the restroom. Please pray for her and the baby. Thanks.

Please be careful people. A guy that works in my office was mediflighted out to Tulsa yesterday after falling from his treestand. He is in the Neuro Trauma unit and as of right now I dont know anything other than both eyes are black, his head is swollen and he has bruising under his neck.

Well, sheriff's office is going to go to his house and talk to him. It wouldnt have been so bad if the front gate had not have been left open but that just freaked me out because I dont want someone sneaking around my place.

I dont think Animal Control comes out to the country and the "city" cops told me that there was no lease law out in the country so Ive got a call in to the Sheriff's dept to see what I can do.

Ive moved to a new place and been there for nearly 2 months. During this TIME, a neighbor of mine has this DOG that decides that every night it wants to get into my yard (inside the chainlink fence) but cant get out so it tears up stuff while she is in there. I have tried fixing every area of where she can be getting in. Finally I called the neighbor and asked him if he could PLEASE tie her up because I was sick of cleaning up her messes and BTW she destroyed my new bow target bag (yea REALLY NOT HAPPY ABOUT THAT). Well the old man said he would and he did, but then I go to a work conference over the weekend and come home to find that she has been untied. OK so she wasnt in my yard last night at midnight but I walk out this morning and find that the front gate has been opened and this was at 6 am. I walk around the house to make sure everything is ok and I find where the dog has gotten in at (a place I tried fixing already) and yet again I find that the DOG has tore up numerous things around the house again. Ive HAD IT. What do I do? Also what gives the old man the right to come open the gate of my yard. (The Old Man has a habit of sneaking around peoples houses and taking things that he finds useful) I figure Ive told the man enough and gave him enough chances that now I am justfied to shoot the dog. Or lock the gate tonight (I lock it every day when I leave) and if the dog is in the yard then lock it in and take care of it when I get home. (I do know that he supposedly got the dog out once when the gate was locked and I think that is how my bow bag got tore up.) Or do I hook an electric fence charger to the gate and give them a shock. I like dogs I really do but not when they tear up my stuff. Also, I dont like the idea of an old man sneaking around my house at night. What are yalls thoughts? Rant ended for now.
