  1. What does everyone use in your groundblind setups to sit on? Most regular chairs sit up to high for me and the smaller dove chairs are not very comfy imo. Any modified or homemade seats work good??
  2. does it have a small LCD screen to view pics??
  3. This spring I no tilled some soybeans, sorghum, and buckwheat into an existing hayfield. For some reason it really did not germinate very well. I am ready to go to plan B. Should I spray round up and go back and no till something for this fall, or should I forget about no tilling ang get the disc out? also, what should a guy be planting soon for a plot that will be lush this fall? Thanks for any input.
  4. Saw a dandy lookin young buck this morning. 10-12 inch main beams with 4 inch splits and 4-5 inch brows. I thought that was a rare sighting, being there are no deer in PA
  5. I am going to put in a large food plot this spring but this is my situation. I have a very productive piece of river bottom ground. It was used for row crop production but has benn converted back to hay ground in the last few years. It took a lot of time, work and $$ to do this. Picking rocks, controlling all types of weeds, re-seeding several times, did I mention picking rocks?! I am really not that excited about plowing it up again and bringing more rocks and weed seeds up. Is there a better way to prepare a seed bed and then using a no-till drill rather than to plow it all up again? What products work best when no- tilling is implemented?
  6. I would just quit if I were you. Remember there are NO DEER in PA. You will be wasting your time, right?
  7. What scent should I use on my decoy? Also should I use it as a buck decoy or remove the antlers???
  8. Had a climber stolen 2 years ago. Went out for an evening hunt ON PRIVATE PROPERTY to find that it was gone. However, it had snowed all day and to my luck, fresh footprints would apear. After following the crooks I tracked them staight to their trailer house. 20 min later the PA state police and I made a visit. Long story short, I got my stand back they got a courtdate. So keep your eyes and ears open, most crooks are pretty stupid.
  9. Hey Thanks, that gives me a little idea. Yes it is a self guided hunt. Cleaning, skinning and meat processing is provided in the cost of the hunt.
  10. Are we talking 10 -12- 15 -20 percent??? Is this standard to EVERYONE?? Cook, maid, etc....
  11. What is the "standard" gratuity when using an outfitter. It is a self guided hunt, however they process the deer and transport you to and from your stand. What about tipping the butcher, cook, maid?
