I recently saw a video clip , where someone did a study of deer gut piles & the animals that come to them in the field. The video showed that deer were usually the first to visit them. Some even licked and sniffed on them.

Mine is cloverleafing at 100 yds as well. Great gun for the price.

I shoot anM&P .tho in .45, and it has performed flawlessly for me. I am also a big fan of CZ guns. One of the most underrated Mfgs. of firearms. I have owned two and my father owns one and they are very accurate and reliable. One benefit that you may gain with the M&P is a lighter weight to carry around.

I use a burlap bag stuffed with plastic grocery sacks.the bag i'm using now is natural burlap and is on it's second season. if you use the plastic burlap,water is not a problem, natural burlap will rot fast if it gets wet.

I just mounted a 3-9x40 scope on my optima. The only trouble i had was that unless i used a high rise mount, the bell of the scope wouldnt clear the rear sight ramp, and that was after removing the sight. I finally ended up removing the ramp itself and using mid mounts.
