  1. So how did ur season go? I used to hunt in Cumberland... Great woods, I sure do miss it.
  2. I was icefishing today in northern NY.. 12* is really cold... Eyes on my pole were freezeing constantly.. Had good luck caught bout a dozen sunfish 3 crappies and 1 nice smally.. seen alot of pike being caught too... didnt fish to long considering the forcasters predicted different temps than what actually was, and i wasnt dressed properly. gonna go back in the AM !
  3. That a good ol' NY buck.... I know your area pretty well and boy theres a alot of nice ones out that way. Congrats

  12. I've never had a negative issue, just a too much damage issue. You hit a bone and these bullets are devistating. I dont like shoulder shots because it ruins the fronts and parts of the backstraps. I dont know if we can post semi graphic photos but I got one picture from today of the guts hanging partially out. The bullet hit a rib and just made a softball size hole for the exit! I went from a 168gr to 150gr hoping there would be less mess. Oh forgot to mention. its for a 30.06
  13. we got to Cambridge on the 5th and hunted 6 days straight. I saw over 100 deer and seen many nice bucks chasing. I missed first morning, my buddies all missed once also. It got frustrating after the first 3 days, they wouldnt stop. Payed no attention to anything but that purdy tail infront of them. One thing I did notice is that the coyotes are rediculous, 3 times I had doe in the field and they we pushed out by the dogs. The last night I hunted I had a huge 7 point, busted off G3 40yrds from me and dam dogs chased him and doe out again! I would say we hit the rut on the nose...
