I use it all year long with very good success.I get about 500 pics a week off 1 camera of deer.Never had a hog touch it though. We pour it straight on a stump and the deer eat the stump. We use the liquid consentrate.I got a 1000 potos on photobucket under Houndbgl if you would like to check it out.

I would say no it will not run the deer out.We found shed up till May last year and jumped bucks out of there bedding areas and the same bucks showed up in hunting season this year
  4. I got pictures of bucks with 1 antler or both on 2-24-08.Cant seem to find the ones they dropped yet.

I agree with using trophy rock.I got some buried beside my stump with c'mere deer and the bucks love it ,they are starting to dig a hole in the ground to get it.I think yall should check out my pics on photobucket/houndbgl.com.I would like to show yall that even though the trophy rock is there the bucks tend to still pay more attention to the c'mere deer stump.I got different pics of these locations so feel free to browse around and look at them.I would like for you to look at the dates to so you will understand that bucks use these sight all year if left alone.
  6. Trail cams I would like to add to what I have read,it has been good advice.I like to place 2 cameras at a baiting station. One facing north or south and the other facing east or west( I do believe that it is true that the sun will give a reflection but most pics are taken at night). The reason is that a buck never does as you want him to so I try to get two different angles.I have missed on certain bucks that just would not turn around for the camera.I will also try moving the camera up higher to see if it is more affective on trails thanks for the advise.
  7. 170's ! Congrats to you and Ty,I got pics of over 50 different late season bucks and the largest may make 150's,which is very large for the area I'm from. But hope to find as many as I can. They usally have all dropped here around the end of March.I found over 30 last year with only 2 matches.Good luck searching.
  8. KSNimrod your not alone I do the same thing. When I am not finding anything and get board I throw the ones that I have found to try and get my eyes to focus better on what I am looking for .I think that is good advice.
  9. nate marshy areas are a good place to look because bucks like to bed down in them there usally thick and not many humans.I would like to say to you that 50 acres might not hold a lot of sheds.I shed hunt every year and have found that bucks tend to travel more than most people think.I have located matches as far as 1 mile apart, but also found them 5 feet apart. You might try to get access to land that joins your property to broaden your search.

johnf you got that right attractent means attractent.I got to tell yall that cmere deer has worked for the guys on my lease this year and has attracted a lot of bucks.I will say this most of them come at night. We pour the concentrate liquid straight on a stump so it soaks in and last for about a month then we refreshin it.The deer will eat the entire stump in to the ground and eat the roots.I have trail cameras out at one stump and have got pics of over 50 different buck.We also use deer cocaine with good results from the end of December to about the end of september, cmere deer has been effective all threw the season.Note the stump I am talking about was not on a deer trail it was in the open woods and I just decided to pour it on the stump about 2weeks later I checked it and half the stump (about 13inches in diamater)was eaten away.We now have four stumps we use and got 1000s of pics of bucks, does, fawns, coons, and rabbits .I will say this it has also become a way to watch the behavior of the bucks (bucks fight or spar all the time).I hope it will be a tool for helping us locate sheds easier too.I hope this info will help some of you that are worried about the results.P.S. use scent control in the area.
