    What Bow

I am the proud owner and shooter of a '05 Bowtech Allegiance
  3. OK, here's my two cents on hunting in the rain. As long as lightning is not popping all around me, I'm going to stick it out regardless how hard or light it is raining for this one simple reason: I want to be in that stand when it quits. I can't tell how many deer sightings and/or kills I've experienced immediately following a downpour. In fact, the largest buck I've seen to date was right after a 2 hour gully washer. And another thing, when you live and hunt in Louisiana you kinda have to get used to hunting in the rain.
  4. Thanks for all the added info. From the sounds of things on this forum and others I'm on, I'll be sticking with a fixed pin sight. Leaning toward the G5. Thanks a bunch.
  5. No, but I'm leaning toward getting some for next season.
  6. What sold me on the Carbon Express is the advertisement where they shoot them into a cinder block and they don't splinter. The crossweave design is what got me. Love them. They are Terminator Lites 6075. Have actually had an experience where I made a bad shot at my 3d target and hit the metal rod in the leg of the target. Damaged the field tip but no damage to the arrow.
  7. My bow is fast, but I shoot a heavy setup, therefore one pin would be a hard sell. Thanks for the input though.
  8. Thanks pateski and leo, the more info I get the better decision I'll be able to make. Where I hunt I would rarely get a shot in excess of 30 yds. And so far in 14 years of bowhunting have not had a shot beyond 25 yds with 90% of my shots being 20 yds and under. That is the reason I was considering a pendulum sight. Have shot fixed pin sights since day one and just considering making a change.
  9. Appreciate the help guys. Keep the info coming.
  10. Had a Bear Whitetail II, then stepped up to a Darton Viper, then on to a Mathews FX.........now have a Bowtech Allegiance.
  11. Thanks, I'll give it a look see.
  12. Thinking about going to a pendulum sight for hunting. Would like input from those that have had experience with them. Am interested in one that has a lighted fiber optic pin. Wanting to know of any noise problems, issues of pendulum sticking, accuracy, ease of set up.....etc. Thank you. This is my first post here.
