Thanks for the info, I will check with UPS again in the morning. When I checked last week their response was "Not Possible". I fly into Abilene the 17th of September for 2 weeks, it's a Charity Hunt for Disability Resources, Inc. there in Abilene. This will be my 5th year enjoying this hunt. Last year there were so many birds I almost got tired of shooting. It will be interesting to see if Budweiser steps up again this year. They have always been a big supporter of the hunt each year. I am lucky enough to be considered a "Celebrity" and get an invite to this great hunt. I understand that the Sunflower crop is doing quite well this year so hopefully we will have good shooting again.

I've got a Dove Hunt coming up in September in West Texas. Does anyone know anything about shipping guns ahead to your destination instead of taking them on the plane with you? I know I can ship my luggage ahead but have not been able to find any information about shipping firearms ahead.

We have had a few showers lately but could use a LOT more. We are something like 6 feet behind and Atlanta just south of here is talking about rationing water.

Yea, I heard about this last Friday from the guy who owns the Dallas/Ft. Worth distributership. Makes me sick, Abu Dahbi now owns the Chrysler Building or most of it any way. It's beginning to look like there is nothing owned by Americans anymore. We just had a bunch of Japanese businessmen try to buy one of the hunting clubs I belong to. No dice for them so far but who knows?

Prayers sent, by the grace of God my newborn Grandson is doing well despite having to undergo surgery and an induced coma for 2 weeks. I cannot even fathom life without him at this point. Just wanted to introduce myself. Custom Knifemaker by trade. Also work for Dynamic Research Technologies, Inc. (DRT Ammo for short). Been hunting all my life, used to use a take down recurve but due to neck injury and surgery have changed to a crossbow, also hunt with blackpowder (pistol and rifle) and love Quail hunting in west Texas with my CZ 28 gauge as well as Pheasant in South Dakota. I use a Tikka T3 Lite in .223 for Whitetail here in South Carolina when I am not using my crossbow or blackpowder. I use a CZ Ultimate Hunter in 300 WinMag for Elk and Bear.

I work for DRT Ammo and we are very invested in this concern. We have talked with several members of Congress about the invalidity of the Hague Convention in the present conflict. the Hague Convention deals with conflicts against organized armys fighting under the flag of a sovereign nation, not the case here. We have proved time and again that our 5.56 can get the job done and yet because it is a hollow point, No Dice. There is no appreciable difference in recoil between the 5.56 and the 7.62 in an AR format. I have shot both on a regular basis demoing our ammo for various government and municipal agencies. I have an AI 5.56 and an AI 7.62 in both AR format and bolt action.
