  1. I think everyone knows my name - Ross, but I have been called many.
  2. True or False - How tall is Mt. Everest?
  3. Thanks everyone - wife got me a new lens for my camera for CHRISTmas. Have had fun getting to know it's capabilities. Shaun, we had 11 inches of snow with 1 1/2 inches of sleet and frezing rain on top of that, it has been a fun few days to say the least. Movies, and popcorn and taking pictures since I can't fire up the forge.
  4. Best of luck with the testing and have a safe trip.
  5. Second Hand Lions - Renaissance Man - The Final Countdown - We Were Soldiers - to name a few.
  6. Depending on the size of the vinyl sticker you could use a die grinder with a tapered or ball tool to texture around the sticker, would take some time but would leave an awesome contrast to the table top. After texturing use some Gorilla tape to build a low rise frame around the edge and then use "Bar" finish which is a 2 part epoxy type finish used on bar tops to fill, level and seal the entire top. Use a blow dryer on low to blow across the surface as it dries to pop the air bubbles and ensure a smooth level finish. I wish I had pictures to show you, I have done 3 tables like this and the result is long lasting and very durable.

    Beer

Yeungling, Bud Light, Coors Light, but my favorite when I can get it is Fat Tire.
  8. I was fortunate to be able to see this the other day when it aired and just happened to have a new client over at the same time and was able to show him the pics of the "Lady" I did for you and your Dad. Randy, I gotta say you continue to amaze me every time I see you.
  9. Well, as most everyone on here knows. I am a very "Hands On" person. If I think I can make something I will give it my best try. Whether it is one of my "Ladies" or a dining room table. But, I gotta say that "Heatin and Beatin" is by far my most favorite thing, followed closely by using the creation thereof on a fresh God granted harvest. There is just nothing that comes close for me to the satisfaction of dressing out that harvest with a blade that I created, it just brings everything full circle.
  10. Good thing it isn't Dove season or these guys would be headed to the stew pot!

    Camospace

Anyone else having trouble logging in? I haven't been able to log in for 3 weeks now and repeated emails to Camospace have gone ignored it seems.
  14. Congratulations Dan - all the best to the both of you.
  15. I hope everyone is safe out there this evening - Happy New Year and Thank You for allowing me to hang around and learn from you folks. Thanks also for allowing me to live the "Hunt" vicariously through each of your adventures afield.
  16. Dude - that is one awesome snow sculpture!
  17. Sorry to hear of Mittens' passing Ruth. It is tough losing a member of the family like that.

Now that is what I call a great Harvest! That is one healthy looking yote right there, those cottontails will make a nice dinner for sure.
  19. Welcome to the campfire - pull up a stump and set a spell.
  20. Oh Man - that does stink Corey. Like William we got a 42" Philips and have not had any problems out of it. My nephew and his wife were here for thanksgiving and she told him that the picture on our Philips was a lot better than the one on their Sony. We have a 22" Vizio in the guest room, so far no problems with it but it is only a year old. Best of luck, let us know how it turns out.
