Outstanding! Congratulations to everyone involved! Ben thanks for keeping us up to date and letting me tag along on the hunt. Felt like I was there.

The warden caught up to the guy with the ladder stand and is going back on the neighbor as well. It seems the guy with the ladder stand had a signed permission slip from the neighbor giving him permission to hunt his property. So despite the neighbor claiming he was trespassing on his land as well, it appears that the neighbor knew what was up all along. Charging ladder stand with trespassing and baiting. Don't know if they can charge the neighbor for anything other than to give him a good talking to about lying to the Warden in the first place. Still waiting for my card back from the Warden.

I thought Kat was going to handle this again this year?

UPDATE - neighbor did know who the culprit is and told the Warden that the person did NOT have permission to hunt his property and that as far as he was concerned he was trespassing on his property as well. Looks like the book will be thrown at this guy. Moved the camera when I checked it and found the pics of him spreading the apples. Still has a clear view of the stand and my property in between but from a different perspective and location.

Stand was right on the line on neighbor's side facing in to my property. Caught him on film on my property throwing out apples 20 yards or so in front of his stand.

Got the guy with the ladder stand on film trespassing! Warden is taking the picture over to the neighbor this morning to find out who it is and then will be charging him. Don't know to what extent but at least there will be some justice.

Thanks everyone for the great suggestions. After spending some time with the Warden this afternoon, we decided to post my property 30 yards back in from his stand and on the line 30 yards on either side of his stand. We also put a camera 30 feet up a red oak 20 yards in front of his stand with a clear view of his stand and my property in between. It helps that the Warden is a good client and friend.

Went out walking my property yesterday afternoon. Found a ladder stand set up on the neighboring property, literally on the property line facing into my property. Went and talked to the neighbor and he claims no knowledge of the stand in question. Large parcel of property (600 acres) and it is right at the line on the far corner from his house. I asked him about removing the stand and he said that since he did not know who put it there he would not touch it. He has several business associates who he has given permission to hunt his property. I stated that given the location and orientation of the stand the only deer that could possibly be taken from that stand would be on my property, unless the guy has eyes in the back of his head ( the stand backs up to huge oak tree). Still no soap with the neighbor. I have a call in to the warden this morning to see if there is anything I can do.

That is just plain WRONG! I take it this guy is a card carrying member of PETA.

I too feel your pain Tony - prayers on the way. I have been out of a "real" job since November of 2008.

Margaret Lorraine Theresa Maddox (Maggie) made her debut. My second grandchild a beautiful perfect girl. 7 lbs 10 oz. 19 inches and a head full of red hair. Mother and daughter are doing fine as is Dad. Big brother Robby is quick to let everyone know that this is HIS baby sister. Needless to say I am one happy Grandpa.

Dog must have been trained by a PETA member to make sure you had a lousy hunt
