  1. Very cool. I've been looking at the Remington ones and wanted to be sure the $46 was well spent! I may have to look into the b squares as well though Thanks
  2. I got this 1187 that i'm considering putting a scope on. The barrel has rifle sights and i'm wondering how effective the scope saddles are bolted to the reciever? Does it stay dialed in very well? Your comments are appreciated.
  3. From Hasting's site: "Remington® 11-87™. Barrels have 3" chamber. Fit any 11-87™ 12-ga. receiver. Guranteed to function with all 3" magnum slug loads. May not eject 2 3/4" loads." http://www.hastingsbarrels.com/12guide.html Yep now I'm confused. I thought the SPS Super Mag meant that a normal 11-87 barrel won't fit?
  4. Cheapest so far http://www.impactguns.com/store/SS-41039.html
  5. +1.... I don't have to deal with all the idiots in the stand! My mom was telling me that she heard some moron on CNN and he was blaming what happend on "christians and their Christmas"! Now that really frustrates me. She said they had a number you could call, she tried for 30 minutes with no luck, so she emailed them. Seriously, it's people like that who cause most these pointless problems our nation has.

  7. Thanks guys! Do you by chance know what would be best? I'll spend the extra money if it's worth it on a Hastings or something like that. Thanks again
  8. I have an old knight, but I believe TC has the same warrenty... Anyhow, mine rusted real bad when I was younger and I called knight. They said to send them the gun so I did, and they replaced the barrel free of charge, just shipping was paid. Knight and I believe TC have an awesome warrenty, just don't do it with a CVA because from what I understand they won't cover it. When they shipped the gun back there was a note that said "keep gun clean and oiled, should be no further problems". haha i learned my lesson
  9. Hey everyone, I picked up a 1187 SPS Super Mag over the weekend and would like to get a slug barrel for it. The one that came with it is for a wingmaster and won't work. I would like the rifled barrel with cantilever mount. If anyone has an idea for me other than spending $359 on one from Remington, please let me know! Thanks
  10. I just picked up a 1187 SPS super mag from a buddy over the weekend. It came with both barrels, but come to find out the slug barrel is actually for a wingmaster and won't work with my SPS. Soooo, I've been researching for a day now and can't for the life of me find a barrel for less than $300 that's rifled with the cantilever scope mount, and will work on a super mag.
  11. Well I had some good success with it this weekend! I had 9 deer come out of nowhere (think somebody kicked them up) and they stopped dead in their tracks at the decoy. Too bad none of them were shooters! Yesterday evening I had a doe eat around the decoy for a good couple minutes but it was too late to shoot. I could easily see kill zone through the scope but didn't want to pull the trigger that late in the evening.
  12. I wear Rocky's with 800 grams thinsulate. They're very comfortable and keep me plenty warm even when ice fishing
  13. Without a doubt. I wouldn't be proud of it, but it's a much more humane way to die rather than starvation/coyotes.

Mine's a car thing. An old school drag racer started calling my car Darth back in 96 and it's just stuck!
  15. Yep that one got me too! Damn I've been working 12's all week and was planning on getting out of here early to head to the woods tonight! Guess I'll go home and see my little buddy instead
  16. Thanks for the advice! Have you had much luck with yours? I have it assembled in the back of my truck now just so I can get it in quieter.
  17. I hadn't thought about rubber bands holding the stuff together. That'll keep it from banging around so much. I can get it put together fairly quiet, it's just loud to carry. Thanks!
  18. Anyone using these have a helpful idea on how to quiet them up any? I thought about some sort of felt in the inside of the body, the then the attachments would still be banging around. Any suggestions are appreciated!
  19. Thanks! I told him I didn't think he would ever notice the differance unless he shot every day, but wasn't 100%.
  20. Hello, I've been having a discussion with a guy at work about arrows and he asked what the differance was in 4" to 5" feathers, and the advantages for one or the other. He's shooting XX75 2216's. I shoot carbons and couldn't ask answer him truthfully so I'm asking you! Any experiance/knowledge is appreciated! Thanks
