i dont know about other states but here in NC our rut usually happens during the week of muzzleloading which is in early October

Hey everybody my Papa (Mama's Daddy) had a heart attack today. He also coded and had to be shocked. He is very blessed to still be here. He's gonna be in the hospital for a couple days and seems to be doing pretty well. Please keep him in your prayers. Thanks

i dont know about a thumb release but i like my tru-fire patriot release i got for $20. it's not a thumb release though

i wear an old pair of Chippewa snake boots that my grandaddy gave me. keep me warm enuff and not to hot but im down here in NC. No cushion in them but they sure are comfy. i run dogs so we are on the go alot. these boots give me everything i need.
