Buy American and get the Savage. With the Accu Trigger and the Accu Stock the Savage will be more acurate than the Tikka. Tikka is an economy grade Sako.

Marlin makes a couple of Reasonably priced 22's with magazines that can be scoped. They don't cost much and are fun to shot. Another option is Reminton used to make a great 22 with a magazine. It was a model 581 and can easily be found on the gun auction sites.

IMHO the Wheatherby Mark V is way over rated and way over priced. Not to mention how much the ammo costs. The Remington CDL is as close to perfect as factory rifles get. I don't think I would buy the limited edition model. I would just go with the standard CDL in a caliber you are comfortable with.
I agree with the above. Guns are not a good investment. They are easy to turn into quick cash but you never get what you pay for them.

I have a Taurus 85 and a CZ 83. They are about the same size and weight. The 85 holds 5 rounds of 38 special. The 83 holds 12 rounds of 380. Plus a magazine loads a lot faster than a speed loader. I still can't decide which one I like better.

With a 50MM objective there is a small chance medium rings will be high enough. If you can it might be worth you time to see if mediums will work. The lower you get the scope the better.

The only difference between the barrels on the wingmaster and the express is the finish. The blueing on express barrels is not as nice. Unless you have a wingmaster with the light contour barrel. In which case the express barrel will still fit but you might have to remove a little wood from the forearm.
Hunt or be Hunted sent me a very nice set with Tree steps, a bow hanger, and a rope for raisinig and lowering my bow from the stand. Very Cool gift Thank you.
