heres my input NO GUN BANS! we as american citizens should have the right to own any gun we want providing a criminal backround check like we already get. if people wanna use fully automatic weapons for recreational shooting LET THEM. if they use them in a crime punish them hard! if people use guns in a crime make it a maximum penalty! what the democrats dont realize is more people did a day driving to work then they do from guns! if guns kill people i blame my spelling mistakes on my pencil! i am a law obiding citizen so my rights to own ANY GUNS should not be infringed but they are because of democrats and libral p.o.s.

hey quick question for the big time archery buffs. right now i shoot the rage 3 blade 100 gr. with a 340 grain beman mfx arrow with blazer vains. i want to try the buckblaster broadhead by trophy ridge but its 125 grains. when i upgrade the grain weight of the broadhead does that mean i have to switch arrows for a higher or lighter grain for better accuracy

tell you what that fallow deer tastes so much better then beef, the boar tastes so much better then a regular pig, and these exotic animals do not have tags in there ears(red deer,fallow deer,sika deer)the elk dont have tags in there ears either. the only animals on the game ranchthat have tags are the boar

i really like this post. i have supported the war in iraq since it started. people say its for oil,people say its because bush wants to finish what his father didnt, but you know i knew from the very beginning it was to save our neighbor. theres a country song that says in it they hit and he just turned his cheek dont think for a minute he was weak well ya know that just tells me that man has never had to fight for anything. as for the guy with the mexican kid on the bus hitting his son, if the bus driver said anything to him it would have been racial profiling and then there would be a big lawsuit so thats why your son got introuble because now a days immigrants cant because its considered racial. very touching and ya know what sometimes people need a good ol fasion passionate tail whippn to show who's boss and that were not gonna take it.

the thing is these animals on the ranch i went to would bust you if the wind wasnt right i dont care if it was the boar deer or the elk. there are no whitetails up there if there was i wouldnt have gone. i dont beleive in high fence hunting with an animal thats right in your back yard such as whitetails and in maine there are no fallow deer or elk or even boar. and you say the animals are trained HA when i was looking for my deer i had 2 boar charge at me they turned the other way when i clicked off my saftey and yelled at it. so thats not true when it comes to the animals not being wild because if they were tamed they wouldnt try to attack you. my friend kara goes to a place in ny and she was almost run over by a bison. so to the whole animals are so used to humans i think thats a little false there bub. and when it really boils down to it, it does become fair chase when the animals act wild. they dont just stand there when they see a human and walk up to us and say here shoot me THEY RUN. my friend phil was supposed to shoot a red deer doe and never could get her close enough to shoot because she always circled down wind or she'd see us in the blind and blow and book it. so you can convic yourself that its like shooting a fish in a barrel but really its not. honestly i think its a good idea for all hunters to take a stab at it and if they dont like it dont do it again

I may not be a pro-staffer but my biggest thing is if you dont vote dont complain. i voted for the first time this past election and my vote went to mccain palin. nuge is a raddical... raddical outdoorsman who is busting his ass fighting for our 2nd ammendment rights. and i hate how people say he is just some redneck hillbilly from michigan when he's like us all. hunters,fisherman,trappers, all outdoorsman fighting for the sport we truly love. Mr. Obama is nothing but scum to me. I am a proud outdoors man who is not affraid to speak his mind on the 2nd ammendment and people say no one will ever take our 2nd ammendment rights away because its to big of an issue, well heres my thing GET BENT THEY WONT LOOK AT WHAT CLINTON DID! last thing we need is a democrate as president and for the hunters who voted democratic SHAME ON YOU apperintly you arent a hunter then. but people seem to think cuz bush screwed up the economy every republicans that way... well in maine and new hampshire we do not have elk and even a travel to colorado or any of the western states are very expensive so taking an elk here shouldnt be critisized either.

for a long time i was an anti high fenced hunter until i was offered a trip to take a fallow doe. i figured you cant you judge it till you try it right! well i took the first fallow doe i saw because i only had 1 day to hunt and it was just in all means fun for the meat hunter. i am no trophy hunter by anymeans because you cannot eat the antlers but then again i wont pass on a buck either. but i hate how people are critisizing me for hunting high fence ONCE! because whats the difference in hunting in a 200 acre high fence and fishing in a lake or pond. the fish only have to the shore line and thats as far as they can go. and people say fishing and hunting is toally different and i ask them how, because you have the opportunity to let the fish go but as for hunting once you squeeze that trigger its all overfor the game you hunt. when i was up at the game ranch i saw things that would fit maine and new hampshire perfectly and made me really think about how much revenue could be brought to the state from the elk, fallow deer, red deer, and the boar if the state just stocked the animals and waited 10 years for them to grow and have a lottery to hunt them

yea im with all the prostaffers with seeing the question how do i get the dream job. im 19 tomorrow dec 22. and i started filming turkey hunts in the spring of 08 and i had a blast although i missed a bird in maine with my bow i still had alot of fun. for us to make it big you gotta dream big. you gotta hunt big. you got to video big and im willing to bet ya that might bring you some where. where i live in southern maine there yes are big bucks but more does so down here 120-130 in buck is a monster down here. to shpoot alot of big bucks with a bow it seems like you have to go to the midwest. but if anyones lookn for a camera guy for turkey huntn or what ever on the seacoast on nh and kittery region of maine then let me know ill help ya out

Hey everybody as im sure you know it gets pretty rough up here in new england for deer in the winter. last year maine suffered an 80 PERCENT KILL RATE on the deer in the northern part of the state. snow makes the deer seem to dissapear and never come back because lack of food. so what in your oppinion would be the best food source to bring to the deer so 1 they survive and 2 so they also get bigger in the winter months. would alot of carbohydrates do the job or what?

Ive shot the primos truth series before they are a very nice bow! smoth draw, the let off makes you feel like your holding air and practicallly no weight even at 70 lbs. Granite I would never buy one because ive shot about everybow and the market and for some reason PSE still has me inlove. Ive been bowhunting since i was 13 years old started out with a pse polaris that my father gave me and i had to learn everything about it by myself. Then in 2007 I bought a pse brute and omg i love my bow to death. Then they came out with the x-force so in 09 im looking into that because 352 fps is mighty fast gets to the target quick and they will not jump the string at that speed. The X-Force yes costs alot but if you find game it will pay right off. My buddy Josh shot 1 bear and 5 deer in maine with it this season and a 140in 9 pointer in ohio with it. not 1 deer was fast enough to jump the string even at 50 yards

what do you think about the cmere deer stuff. ive used it before with my buckgrub and it worked with a doe and big fawnbut nothing up. have you used the cmere deer 3 day its new. i watched it on hankparker 3-d today and the sound of it made me think of usinbg it for next season but not totally sure yet if id like to.

ill agree it is like christmas. only thing is is maine and new hampshire are so far from being the boone and crocket deer states. if they let the deer mature then yes they would be easily because up here we have bucks just as big as whats in sakatchuan antler size and we get deer up to 300lbs live weight there just hard to come by. up here its almost like you passs a spike and 100 yards later you hear a boom and here comes a hunter with a spike. i guess somtimes you have to take what you can get. i shot my first deer this year 10 years of hunting and my first deer and it wasnt a trophy buck by no means just a skipper and the sad part is is me and my buddy gave up looking after 5 hours and about 3 miles of blood later. now i sit back and think about it that deer ran back towards the tree stand and i feel like a peckerhead for not finding it :[

no im not saying theres nicotine addicted deer nor am i saying smoking garuntee's deer. i chew tobacco GRIZZLEY WINTERGREEN but what im stating is whats the deal with all this scent lok stuff and scent blocker. considering like i said my dad has gone ut in the woods plain right stinky smoking a cigerette and has shot numerous deer with a ciggerete in his lips and all the deer were down wind that he has shot. so how does the scent protective clothing give you an edge if people stink and shoot more deer then the guys who try not to stink

i know i am not a pro staffer or a professional hunter but its just kinda weird on how far scentcontrol goes because my father and all his friends have shot over 100 deer with this techneique. THEY LIGHT A CIGGERETTE on stand it seems like the deer walk right into it no matter what way the wind direction is. when i was about 10 when my dad shot a deer he had a ciggerette in his lips puffing away and the deer was down wind as and not phased by the smell. it makes me wonder is all this scent control stuff and being 100 percent scent free a hox

i myself like to get up about 25 feet i feel pretty safe up there. but stand heigh all depends on the terrain your hunting. you always have to be above the deers eyes. so say your hunting a bottleneck you want to be up about 30 feet because if your at 12 or 16 feet and that deer comes up that bottle neck he's at eye level with you.if your hunting flat ground anywere from 15-18 feet should be key. but when you set up a stand always have someone with you so then pretend they are the deer and have them walkj up that bottleneck and see if they see you in your stand at certain heights. so remember tree stand height only matters with the terrain your hunting.
